Tropical Storm Maria (for that is the name of Irma's newest little sister) is expected to be a hurricane no later than tomorrow and hit the Leeward Islands (again) early next week.

She could be a Cat 3 by Wednesday, when she's expected to reach Puerto Rico.

Lee is much farther east, and is unlikely to be a threat to land any time soon.

So we should be spared "jokes" by about Lee's getting his revenge for Charlottesville.

No sense issuing a warning for Barbuda.
The island was leveled and completely evacuated.
Unless, someone stole a magic idol. Brought it there, then took it to Antigua before the Storm King razed the land. Now, the Lord of Hurricanes strikes at the second island to reclaim his lost treasure.

These cyclic ocean oscillations are the reason for the activity. Even NOAA says that the anthropogenic signal in hurricane activity is to small to find. You alarmist warmers are like religious nuts spouting off about God seeking revenge. You're totally wrong and the science says so!

Hurricanes? You can't do anything unless you think we can introduce wind patterns to disrupt the formation of the storms.

You kick her out of the convent to become the governess for a rich widower's children, and disrupt his plans to marry a rich older woman and marry him herself, only to have to flee Austria because of the Anschluss, but I don't think that's going to work in this case.

Going with the shiatty scenario that this follows Irma's path and hits Florida.  Has there been any years that a hurricane has hit the same area twice in a year?

Okay, you invoke science, so let's have some numbers

How many more hurricanes will we have this year because of climate change?

How many more kilometers per hour is the wind force for any particular hurricane because of climate change?

Any climatologist, anybody at NOAA, even TV weather people will tell you that for any given storm, there's no way to measure the influence of climate change. No way

Who knows the science? Clearly not you. So don't invoke it, unless you know it, or you end up sounding just as stupid as the congress douche who holds out a snowball and says "Where's your global warming now?"
