Apparently I am, Chris Mathews looks a lot younger and speaks a lot more professionally.  Oh, wait, that's Steve Kornacki.  Nevermind.

Are we gonna see real riots in St. Louis tonight?

I started watching MSNBC during the 2012 cycle.  The afternoon was a pretty bad lineup.  Sharpton, Abby Huntsman, Krystal Ball (!for farks sake!), that older uber-union guy from radio... really kind of tough to watch.

I didn't either.  Nor did I go near the politics tab, until Donald won the GOP primary, then I knew something was up.

Ari was a bright spot on the show that had Abby and Krystal.  But, really, it was pretty bad.  But I watched it because Krystal is right smack in the middle of my attraction template.

Hey Folks. I'm stopping by early while on a break and won't be watching Rachel/Lawrence live. Hope Friday has found everyone well and wish everyone a good weekend.

I did have a question for anyone that feels like answering and apologies if a repeat.....was just wondering where else folks here go for their tv and/or "print" news?

I regularly DVR and watch Rachel & Lawrence on MSNBC, as well as PBS Newshour and BBC World News during the week. For print news it's not as regular, but the NYT and WaPo are often where I'll go to find out what's happened etc. As well as my hometown newspaper for local news happenings. How about you?

For other news, I'll usually catch Washington Week, since Robert Costa is the host, and it's reporters talking about stories instead of pundits, so it's basically facts, and opinions are usually clearly stated.

Online, CBC for local/national, my  WaPo subscription, and the free NYT sub I got for a few months due to being a Google Local Guide.  I don't really do our local papers, as one of them is derp, and I don't have anymore time for news each day.

Oooh, and Ta-Nehisi later? yay!

Arrows point to two of the many reasons why we felt that this wee city in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts might be good for us.  (Three is you want to count the River the State Forest is named after, but I thought that redundant.  The "Otter River" in gray is a road.  If it wasn't a too far to walk comfortably distance away from the center of town, we would have bought there just for the address.  We have yet to visit, though, which I find mind boggling on a daily basis. Always too much to do.)
