OH FER FARK'S SAKE.

2017-09-04 11:52:07 AM
When that annoying pastor who was tangentially related to Obama said "God Damn America" in his sermons, THIS IS THE shiat HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.

Defend this: I dare you.

2017-09-04 11:54:35 AM
Oh, and I can virtually guarantee that if I showed up at the Mexican or Canadian border and said, "I'mm'a be here a week. Got a family member's funeral to go to and probably some tourism." I'd get a wave-through and a thank-you-sir.

Maybe that's white privilege.

Maybe if they promise they'll bury him in a Trump-etery, she can get let in?

dv-ous: When that annoying pastor who was tangentially related to Obama said "God Damn America" in his sermons, THIS IS THE shiat HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.

BINGO!

And please again someone tell me how Hillary and Trump were the same. As a Bernie voter in the primary and Hillary in the general, please tell me how I was wasting my vote and we were going to have a revolution. Because Neil Gorsuch is on the SCOTUS, we're trying to provoke a war with North Korea and we're going to start kicking out people who have been here since before they can remember.

2017-09-04 12:52:53 PM
Relax, everybody, Trump's gonna make everything all white!

Trump prefers volunteers who don't drown.

Well, obviously. If all a Redcap can afford for his dog's last rites is having Old Blue's ashes dumped in a mass grave out back of the vet's office, I dare say he'll be convinced that that's the most That Person deserves.

Actually, that's not quite true. The Redcap probably cried like he thinks triggered liberals do when Old Blue was put down. He sees the mother of That Person begging to be be allowed to bury her son and laughs himself sick.

Do they normally let non citizens in for funerals? If so, fark those guys. If not, well... yes, she should be let in, but is it trump's fault?

Didn't we have this go green twice already today?

Confirm every detail of this story, and then shout it from the mountaintop. It's the only way back from where we're heading.

Well I know it's been almost seven months but there was a time when the United States did have a sane tourism and foreign visits policy.

The other one was specifically about the guy who drowned. This is a follow up about the family.

Maybe if you get that response often enough to feel the need to preempt it, you should take a moment to consider why it keeps happening to you?

One illegal immigrant like this is worth 10 Trump voters.

In general, legal immigrants > natural born citizens > illegal immigrants > Trumplickers >= neo-Nazis.

This has nothing to do with DACA.  She's a foreign national wanting to come to the US under a humanitarian visa.  The article only says her application was "in vain."  That's it.  The rest of the article goes on and on about DACA which may have affected her son but has zero to do with her ability to enter the country for his funeral.

Want to talk about the humanitarian visa and if it was declined and why?  Fine. Otherwise you might as well use his death to complain about gas prices or Best Korea's bomb tests.  They have about as much to do with the story as DACA does.

2017-09-04 01:34:29 PM
Well it's her own damn fault for raising a boy so good he'd give his life saving others. We can't have those kind of moochers coming in to our country when they're kids, with their cantelope calves from saving all those people and drugs. We need to keep those people out so fine upstanding citizens can vote for racists in vain, unsubstantiated hopes of a renewed industry that never gave a shiat about their lives and health, is polluting our planet, and is being phased out by modern energy markets. Those are real Americans!

/puke
//even saying it sarcastically makes me sick, because there are people that vote consistently and actually believe shiat like that

Considering that an emergency visa can only be issued by a consular authority I can see why the border people are holding her up. She needs to go to a US consulate building to apply for it. That is how the system is set up.

He was covered under DACA, so it's pretty obvious she doesn't believe the system should apply to her.

You should keep reading that page.

Requirements for Travelers Staying Less Than Six Months
Travelers entering Mexico by air, staying longer than 72 hours or traveling beyond the border zone must carry a valid U.S. passport and obtain the Mexican tourist migratory form FM-T. The form can be filled out and authorized at any port of entry, customs office or Mexican consulate and allows travelers to stay for up to 180 days. The form requires an administrative fee (updated annually) to be authorized. For tourists traveling by air, the fee is usually included in the price of the plane ticket.

I have never met any US Citizen who has had any issue traveling to Mexico for any reason, including people with DUIs. And basically the process is "Just go. Somebody will tell you what to do when you get there."

The mom in TFA is doing the paperwork too, but there's no reciprocity here - we (the US) makes it a lot harder for Mexicans to travel to the US, for any reason, than they make it for us to travel there.

RTFA: she did apply for an emergency bereavement visa. No joy.

And she's in the process of immigrating legally, so it's doubtful she has any criminal convictions or terrorist ties - those would derail that too.

As soon as Harvey made landfall, Alonso borrowed a towboat along with some friends and headed to Southern Texas to try and aid people who were trapped due to the natural disaster, Houston Chronicle reported. They were on their way to an apartment complex near the Interstate 45 and Beltway 8 when the hurricane struck the bridge over the creek and capsized Wednesday.

Who farking writes this shiat? The hurricane capsized?

You could not get tourist visas because of long standing state department regulations that were there decades before Obama.

What country were they coming from?

Fake headline  "Customs won't let her into the US because of Trump's restrictions"   Not supported by facts or the article.  End of DACA has nothing to do with her travel.  What specific restriction did Trump add on her?
