2004-05-27 11:09:28 AM

"Stephenson says he's disappointed"

I'm usually pretty happy when I make myself out to be a total asshat and get called out.

Maybe we can get the pendulum swinging back from the puritanism now.

2004-05-27 11:10:30 AM
Who got what in the who now?

Can I just kill all the stupid people?

But then who will entertain us??

2004-05-27 11:11:12 AM
nethole, I agree. However, then there would be like 4 1/2 people left in this country. On the other hand, gas would be cheaper.

They should have titled the article "Stupid Mormon's Plan to Get Five Grand Doesn't Work."

2004-05-27 11:12:13 AM
can i sue for watching the non family oriented halftime pay per view show, only to find out that it could have been played on the disney channel?

2004-05-27 11:12:16 AM
Bravo, Snowburnt.

2004-05-27 11:13:11 AM
What a boob.

Pop Quiz:

What's worse?

a.) Pointless, irrelevant half-time show with a nipple

b.) Relevant intermission show, but starring Barry Melrose and Chris Berman

Tough one eh?

Stephenson says he's disappointed

....everyone else with above room-temperature IQ says he's a moron.

2004-05-27 11:18:57 AM

Man offended by boob on tv = wannabe homosexual.

I don't think I ever complained once about having this problem, but I have complained about not having it enough.

2004-05-27 11:20:14 AM
Chalk one up for the good guys. There should be an asshat hall of fame for people like this. The second entry should be that fatass kid in New York who sued McDonald's because he was, well, a fatass.

Nah. I'd be willing to bet he was doing this as some sort of trial to launch a major class-action suit (he is a lawyer).

He wins this, and he and his lawyer buddies have some pretty solid case history to multiply that $5,000 by millions.

(I know little about law, I could be wrong).

Can someone please tell me the logic of how viewing a boob is supposed to hurt minors? If their good enough for a baby to view, than how are they suddenly harmful for children? It's not that I just disagree with it, I can't even fathom their position. Boobs - safe enough for newborns and adults under certain circumstances only. Oi

2004-05-27 11:25:58 AM
So, a man wants money for watching female nudity.

...something's not right here.

2004-05-27 11:27:06 AM
This guy should get forced to pay huge remunerations to CBS (and any other defendants he named). With a legal department like that, I'm sure he cost them well over $100k. That'll teach the farker to stop being such a shiatstain.

Hey, can't we sue the FCC for prior restraint? There must be lots of test cases that can get forced, in order to demonstrate how ridiculous some of this shiat is.

Anyone else want to strap Ashcroft down, Clockwork Orange style, and make him watch bukakke movies? When I was about 17, a few of us forced this religious friend to watch some softcore porn. He eventually ran outside and stood in the rain for an hour, and wouldn't come back in. We later found out that he was a cybersex freak and has since become a porn-fiend.

I'm so looking forward to Howard Stern reading transcripts from Oprah.

PS - Oprah is a fat pig-biatch and is ruining this country. From Oprah, to fatass housewives, to our new generation of leaders.

I used to work as a tour guide in a museum, and occasionally, women would breast feed their children there. A little weird, but no big deal, right? (and LEGAL in my state, TX).

But we had a fundie guide who kept bringing it up at meetings constantly. Her argument was "what if children saw that, and then they asked their parents about it?" Of course, children didn't care. But man did she! She also tried to solicit donations to her megachurch (featuring gym, bowling alley, and personal helicopter for pastor). Man, what a dimbulb...

I just think that's kinda awkward. I mean it's totally natural, but I'm not worried about the kids. It's just that most men can't help but try to take a peek...and what if she catches me doing it?

2004-05-27 11:41:00 AM
Man, the justice system REALLY needs to be reformed so people have to pay a higher consequence for stupidass lawsuits..

2004-05-27 11:41:03 AM
palexc, if a woman is breastfeeding in public, stares at her breasts from passersby is part of the deal. If she doesn't want people looking at her breast, generally she will cover it with a blanket.

It's funny, because breastfeeding is probably the reason why y'all are so fascinated with them in the first place.

2004-05-27 11:43:08 AM
He's probably a mormon, figures too, They are all like that in public. "Holier than thou" in public, but when their in private, they are some of the most hypocritical, two-faced liars i know of

Boobies? What's wrong with Boobies?

I want legislation to expose more of them, upon demand if possible. "Excuse me Miss..."

Ok guys, help me out here.

Gotta coworker. He freaked out about the halftime show, calling it offensive and all that. For that reason alone, he wants Howard Stern off the air. Whatever.

Then we talk about European and Canadian TV, and how nudity is no big deal. I tell him that because of this, the female body is not lusted over like it is here. His response: well, sex crimes in Europe are 4 times the levels they are here. I looked at him. He won't back up his statements, so I know he is an asshat, but I want to find an actual study or something that I can send him to show him he is an asshat that makes things up. Nothing like giving the loud complainer of all of civilization's ills (due to lack of Christian Values) a bit of crow.

My friend is suing a hospital because they sent her home with spinal meningitis telling her it was only the flu AFTER doing tests. At another emergency center the doctor took one look at her and knew something was seriously wrong. She was in a coma, periodically has to go in for surgery, has a lisp because her tongue is partially paralyzed, has a weak heart, and before about 5 surgeries was crosseyed. All because she wasn't treated when she first started getting symptoms. THAT is something you sue over, not this piddly crap.

2004-05-27 12:02:32 PM
I'm glad this judge threw out a completely stupid and pointless lawsuit. It's obvious the guy was just trying to make a quick few bucks.

Thanks thoroughly.

I still pissed that I paid 20 bucks to watch the Lingerie bowl and there was no actual nekidity.

I should sue...

2004-05-27 12:06:23 PM
Haha! Another fine story from our friends at WTF? TV

*sigh* The boobies have won.

2004-05-27 12:12:21 PM
this will be the downfall of america, suing over a titty, and older titty, but a titty all the same
