White supremacist and Nazi‽ Get outta town.

Decades ago, Bartcop coined the term "ditto monkey dollar" and then documented how obsessively the MSM would pursue it no matter what.

And it is still going on.

It's pretty unusual, but there is actually a tiny bit of overlap between the two groups.

I'm okay with this.

It is important to hear both sides, even if one side is disgusting. Hear him out.

Know your enemy.

8/15/2017. Never forget. That's the day the President of the United States of America sided with white nationals and Klansmen.

Because every story on MSM must have both sides. Even if one side is advocating for the mass murder of the other side.

I wish CNN and MSNBC would get over this fear they have of being branded as liberal or whatever, and stop giving a platform to every horrific viewpoint.

/how long until they have a flat Earther on to get both sides of that story

What hypocrites.  That is exactly the behavior they condemn in immigrants (rebranding as American) and trans people (rebranding their gender) for example.

Fark those nazee-squazzis.

Stein himself, who has worked at the organization since 1982, said he believes America's immigration laws, which he regards as too permissive, are an effort "to retaliate against Anglo-Saxon dominance." He said that the current generation of immigrants is engaged in "competitive breeding" and that "[m]any of them hate America, hate everything the United States stands for."

No, what they hate is assholes like you trying to treat them like something less-than-human.

CNN.

Stop it.

You're not going to get viewership from Fox by doing this.  It doesn't matter how many racist conservatives you employ or have on.  The conservatives will NEVER watch you.  They want to kill your reporters.  All you're doing is making the center and left hate you guys as well.

"As Whites see their power and control over their lives declining, will they simply go quietly into the night? Or will there be an explosion?," Tanton said in 1986.

I find myself thinking of something I heard once regarding homophobia: "It's men who are terrified that other men will treat them the same way they treat women." I think the people who are panicking over the decline of the white majority are in the same boat: they're terrified that they'll be treated like they've treated others.

2017-09-04 12:39:27 PM
I feel conflicted about this. On the one hand, people do need to see these monsters for what they really are, and there isn't a good way to do that without showing them on the air. Anything else opens you up to accusations of misrepresentation.

On the other hand, that has to be done very carefully, lest you make yourself vulnerable to giving them a chance to misrepresent themeselves. CNN failed to do that, recklessly inviting the guy on without giving viewers the proper context for exactly what he represents. And so he siezed the opportunity to soft-sell his position (rank white-supremacy) to seem like something it wasn't (increased border security): it's a long game, but these freaks have had decades to master it.

Honestly, CNN shouldn't be messing in things it doesn't know how to handle. I mean, if they really intended to expose these animals, then good on them for their intentions, I guess, but they'll do more harm than good until they start doing it properly.

I don't think it's that. I think it's more like the twelve steps of AA. First, you have to admit you've got a problem. Second you have to admit a deity exists... oh wait. fark.

OK it's more like a varmint infestation. There's no such thing as just one. Find one, and you've got many lurking.

Exactly, it's like inviting Hitler on your program to talk about how to improve the highway system without mentioning he's Adolf farking Hitler.

People who aren't up on all the derp will just see him as someone CNN considers a legit expert/source of information on the subject and not a dangerous lunatic.  When they do hear him derping, they'll already have a message from CNN that this is a credible person worth listening to, so if he's NOW talking about killing all the blacks, maybe you should listen.

(yes, Godwin, because the guy they had on is little better than a damn Nazi)

Nitpick, 1942. The Nazi government officially embraced extermination at the Wannsee Conference on January 20th, 1942. HBO/BBC made a movie about it (Conspiracy 2001) . It is absolutely chilling.

If they're going to have these shiatbags on tv, they need to be clear about who they are, what they are and not let them say their bullshiat without getting fact-checked instantly and seriously discredited as they deserve - probably some on-screen humiliation just to be sure. They aren't credible, they do not deserve "equal time" for their nonsensical ideas.

Himmler was chief of security for occupied territories in 1941 when the extermination of the baltic, Belarusian, and ukrainian jews began. The wannsee conference was called because shooting them all was too inefficient.

Most decent people find the answers to these questions obvious or even self-evident, but there are some who need it gone over more carefully. So yes, there is value in asking these things from time to time, so that people who need a more detailed and careful presentation of exactly why the Nazis and their ilk were so monstrous and must never be allowed to rise again can have that presented to them.

But once again, the operative word is careful, lest the neo-Nazis and their ilk get a chance to inject misrepresentations of themselves into it. CNN's current approach is reckless, and needs to stop. Assuming they have good intentions, there are ways to do that sort of thing properly. It doesn't even require all that much of a change from the current format. But what they're currently doing doesn't cut it.
