It sure is. Watch him when he's signing sh*t, it's like he's drawing a rollercoaster. He's pretty much functionally retarded.

For those of you poking fun at his signature, I have a comptroller once ask me to change my signature to something that didn't show all the letters because that's harder to forge. No idea if something like that is going on with him, but there is a good reason not to use a legible signature.

Pretty sure that 12 "M's" in a row is pretty easy to forge.

I've noticed that.  It's also not the usual celebrity who signs a lot of autographs, with D-scribble T-scribble.  It's very slow and deliberate, and he's concentrating to write that crap.

It was 1985 when I first discovered Trump and thought the same as you since then as well.  BSAB and all of that, but I also despise Hillary.  However, she got my vote for one reason:  she isn't Trump.

As someone with awful handwriting, as long as you silently say your name while scribbling, it counts.

That's why you (the hypothetical savvy Trump) sign autographs with a clear "Don Trump" and official documents with a scribbled "Donald J Trump". Ted Williams signed official documents as "Theodore Williams" but that didn't stop his family from using an autographed napkin to get his head frozen to a tuna can down in Florida.

But Tump doesn't do that. He signs everything the same way. In one-foot high letters.

My signature is so spastic that even *I* can't replicate it.  I blame it on being left-handed.  At this point when confronted with a signature pad in a store I just make a lowercase alpha and add the date.

I don't understand why people write their names in recognizable cursive. Might as well use block letters for as easy as they are to copy. I can recognize my signature (rúbrica) at 20 paces, and to copy it, somebody would have to have my exact muscle memory because it takes me less than a second to write.

I have a long surname, so to save time I've reduced my signature to my initials, a squiggly line and two dots.

But I don't do it to prevent identify theft or forgery. That's just nonsense.

I posted this in a thread last night, but when Obama visited my son's school a few years ago they asked him to sign the wall. They put a frame around it and everything. I suppose it's technically possible that Trump was asked to do the same, but I've found nothing that says either way.

It's the defining characteristic of the Trump presidency: he wishes he were as good and well-respected as Obama.

Yeah, I can absolutely see him doing this unbidden and without asking because he thinks it's just something presidents get to/are supposed to do.

I think Fark needs to dial down the outrage a few notches. So Trump signed a wall. Is it that big of a deal?  I'm not a fan of Trump, but this is not pinging my outrage meter. What's the problem here?  Maybe someone asked him to do it. Who knows. Who cares?
