Well they elected Donald Trump, quite possibly the biggest and worst liar in the world, and they continue to elect Republicans on their promises despite their inability to do anything legislatively, so the GOP electorate is pretty consistent about their desire for liars.

And this will be the only message that our Fox News binge watching president will hear.

With DACA, Obama gave the conservatives ample rope with which to hang themselves. Most politicians are smart enough to see this (Tucker included).

Funny how DACA wasn't an issue at all until recently.

I always thought Tucker Carlson looked like a giant pair of lips....

Got it.

I have no doubt that Carlson got hit a lot when he was a kid. His kind of smug asshattery comes from a lifetime of being a douche.

They can't do anything meaningful on immigration due to the Hastert Rule. So, if these young'uns want a real chance in life they are going to have to wrestle with Hastert.

The French have a word for Tucker Carlson.

Well, they have a whole vocabulary. A dictionnaire, if you will.

Sot. Fat. Vaniteux. Prétentieux. Faraud. Suffisant. Ridicule. Dinde. Outricidant. Effronté (the mot juste for the Father of Lies, Trump himself).

Dinde means turkey. The same bird, the same character as in English.

I actually learned a number of wonderful new words while researching this post. Good for me! I hope you do too!

Despite my own fondness for a nice bow-tie (the kind you tie yourself, not the made up fake bow ties of people too dumb to be able to tie their own tie and who have to have their Mommy or valet do it), I consider the Conservative Bow Tie one of the primary natural warning signs of nature, along with the markings of venemous animals and poisonous plants. In fact, I will confess to being a bit of a dandy in spirit, but seldom in fact. Nothing like a good suit, a good tie and some impeccable tenue to keep people at a safe distance. It's only fair you warn them that you are carrying, whether it is a poisonous ideology or a handgun.

I think the issue amongst the sh*tstain-in-chief and his supporters is that DACA is an Obama legacy, and since Obama had the audacity, nay, the effrontery, to mock his dinkiness in a public forum MUST BE EXPUNGED FROM HISTORY

/They barely even recognize that it has anything to do with immigrants

Perfect word for Trump: éhonté. Shameless. It has been done, however. I have a book entitled Trump and Me, by one of the journalists who have been closest to Trump back in the days when the gossip press was creating the Trump Mark I and Mark II models, the arrogant businessman and the stubby fingered vulgarian climber from Queens.

The author (in more ways than one) says that Trump is the perfect celebrity because he is totally without shame. Natch.

Ah, he tried to cover his bad humanness by going down that, "oh yes, the poor DACA kids, but what about poor, neglected  American CITIZENS."

I hate this type of argument from conservatives. They go on about how we should take care of American citizens first any time you mention the government helping DREAMERS or government foreign aid. Yet, they are the VERY SAME PEOPLE who don't want to pay any taxes to help those same poor Americans citizens they lament are being ignored. They are the same people who when progressives want to implement policies and laws to help American citizens, they scream and yell that that is not the government's job, and we as a society should not do anything through our collective government to help them.

You don't get the be the very reason why we as a society fail to help so many of our own people and then complain about that lack of help as an excuse not to help others.

Funny -- it seems that all these GOP pundits yammering on about "traitors" are more in line with the Southern Slavers and their treason

Frankly -- I think we should roll back the reconciliation and send the former CSA out on it's own
They aren't Americans -- the concept of Freedom, Liberty and EQUALITY is something these a-holes find repugnant and they have shown that consistently for centuries.

It's time to call them out and be rid of them, for the good of our Society and for the good of the Constitution and the ideals it represents across the world

What do we lose by being rid of these racist backwaters that take the majority of the Federal Tax Subsidies while fighting tooth and nail against social services and programs to help ALL AMERICANS?

They fight to prevent Americans from being educated, because they know ignorant people are easier to control. They fight to prevent free or even affordable Health Care, because of pure greed and the desire to not help anyone but themselves. They seek to imprison as many Americans for as many crimes as they can for as long as they can, because they are Slavers, and Captive Labor is what they are all about and what they understand the most. They seek to create war and strife across the planet, because Oppression and Aggression is what Southern Slavers are all about

And what do we gain? We could finally fund Education properly, catch up with the rest of the First World by providing Single Payer Health Care. We could roll out new innovative programs like Universal Basic Income, we can set up all sorts of Social Programs meant to keep people off the street, out of prison and into jobs

Seems the question should not be "if" we divorce from these Southern Slavers, but "when"
The economic reality of the US in the 1800s is not our economic reality, back then we needed the resources, industry and labor of the South. They have little to nothing to offer us any more and are doing far more harm than good from a social perspective

Let them have their Ku KLux Nazi Land of Jesus and Hate -- and let's build up and become even better and more powerful without being held back by cretins and bigots

Tucker Carlson is disgusting. He doesn't actually believe anything he says, he's just performing for angry old men. He has a venue he could use to try to make the world a better place, but he chooses to use it to pander to the worst people in America. He's despicable.

I agree...but they shouldn't get American land.

I'm sure if they asked nicely, Putin would let them have a big empty chunk of Siberia, where they can bootstrap themselves a functioning nation.

Tucker's a trust fund schmuck who's been handed every opportunity in life. He epitomizes white privilege. He wouldn't last ten seconds in a California field picking tomatoes. He's precisely the kind of person who, had he any dignity, would count his blessings and remain silent, which is of course why he won't shut the fark up -- and in fact, actively seeks new forums through which to loudly proclaim what an asshole he is.

It's also hysterical that he absolutely considers the rubes who worship him lower than the dogshiat he scrapes off the bottom of his expensive shoes.

The DACA kids, meanwhile, arrived here with virtually nothing and have made meaningful productive lives for themselves. I'd much rather hear from them than this prissy small-dicked narcissist.

Why stop with DACA? Trump should check on anyone born outside of the country, even if they have citizenship. A "Real Merican" wouldn't let they're spawn be born outside of the border of The US of A. If they don't appear to show 100 support for Trump, they should be deported.

It is interesting (to me, anyways) that I was recently chatting with my relatives from Australia and the term "anchor baby" came up. Not only did I have to explain what it was, they thought it was one of the most ridiculous things they had ever heard of.

Ya know, I'm not sure what happens next for the GOP. On the one hand you have pretty much the same generational civil war as the democrats have; and on the other many of the boilerplate agenda items the GOP has had for years like gutting Obama care, rounding up illegals, border walls, redoing social security, defunding planned parenthood... These things are finally seeing daylight and the republicans are balking on all of them

Why stop there?, being born in the USA and growing up American is just a sneaky trick Mexicans like Judge Curiel use to attack real Americans like Donald Trump.
