It's early yet.  Plenty of time to walk that back and change his mind again.

It's exhausting, too.

He moved on the shutdown like a b*tch.

I never understood that threat. As long as the wall wasn't funded, I figured they could get enough Republicans together to work with Dems and override a veto.

Until a GOP coalition puts together a clean bill and lines up Dems to support it, that won't happen.  This whole show is up to the GOP now.  God help us.

I wonder if anyone has told Trump yet. He's likely to tweet the opposite within the next 48hours.

Did he just now realize that the U.S taxpayer isn't Mexico? I really am not sure with this guy

It was all sound and fury leading up to his Phoenix rally. That was all. Nothing.

I bet Mike Pense wouldn't have backed down.  He is mighty, not like little Donny.
I also bet Mike's dad loved him.

This of course means it's going to happen.  There isn't a single issue he hasn't taken both sides on, and he usually lands on whichever is worse.

This. He's a piece of shiat and extremely stupid besides. He can always manage to do the wrong thing at the last minute.

MCCONNELL doesn't want the shutdown - the Koch Brothers are expecting a return on the $800 million they spent in 2016 and he knows that.

It sure would be a shame if somebody tweeted to the President that they are letting the FAKE NEWS! media win.  And they are probably being led by Crooked Hillary and Barack HUSSEIN Obama too!

Yessir, I hope that nobody starts tweeting such awful things to the President.

Congress won't come to an agreement, the whole thing will be totally farked before/if it gets to Dolt45's desk, he'll throw a twitter tantrum and tweet-veto it (it'll be a thing by then.)

Then the remaining 15 offices that have people in the, will be closed leaving Hair Furor and 49.5% of legislators staring at each other for the remaining 3 years as everything around them burns.  We won't have the 2018 election, shiat will still be too farked up to function yet.

/That's the positive outlook.
//You should hear the negative one.

He's not a leader in any meaningful sense but he has played one on television. So he has that going for him, which is nice.

And tomorrow he'll double down again.

This is a shame.  I really wanted him to push forward, because little has been so entertaining as watching him first peddle the idea that a giant wall would be paid for by Mexico, and then realizing how completely farking stupid that was, then trying to save face and claim that 'reimbursements' will pay for it.

You want the wall?  Find every person who voted for this moron, and take it out of their taxes.  Maybe that'd be a good real world lesson in being less of an idiot when casting a vote.

2017-09-01 04:44:12 PM
"Obviously I'm supportive of the wall and putting the wall funding in [the government funding bill], but from a pragmatic standpoint, even if we pass a [bill] that has the wall funding in there, it will get stripped out in the Senate," said Rep. Mark Meadows (R - N.C.), chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, which represents the chamber's most conservative members.

Why don't you support Mexico paying for the wall, instead?

2017-09-01 04:44:46 PM
But the White House made it clear that building the wall is on top of his agenda.
Yeah... and...?

What??

2017-09-01 04:50:55 PM
The lamest thing about Trump/Republicans these days is that they have such weak moral footing that all they have left is BSAB. I see this distraction as exactly identical to the Antifa article a couple posts below this one. It's all nothing but "yeah, but...". Apparently they never learned the 1st grade lesson of two wrongs don't make a right. Foul doesn't even begin to describe these people.

No he hasn't. A leader on TV is able to give a speech off a teleprompter.

He's still telling his followers that Mexico is going to pay for the wall.
How stupid does he think his followers are?
Is he right?

If I was Pelosi, I would seriously consider only supporting a bill that removed the debt ceiling permenantly.  Why let the derpers take the country hostage every farking year?

I have you farkied in orange as Trumpsucker. I'm curious.....do you believe Mexico will ever pay for any part of that wall?

How much money is normally in a budget?  Is it really that out of place for a President to ask for $1.6 billion?  I'm sure both democrats and republicans vote for a budget in which there are things they don't like.

I'm done farking around with the Trump pissflakes. Kill them all and let's start this democracy thing over again with decent sane human beings.
