You'd think that with the Mueller investigation kicking into high gear that the R's would show some signs of playing it safe yet instead they continue to believe themselves untouchable. This hubris will not stand.

His fealty to Russia is a huge concern, no matter what his IQ.  Anyone that even begins to suggest that this is appropriate for DR is a traitor.

CNN reported on Wednesday that the Senate Intelligence Committee is considering whether to ask Rohrabacher about his meeting earlier this month with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in London.

Rohrabacher keeps the company of entities that encourage and facilitate espionage against the United States and its allies--that's Adherence as defined in Article 3, Section 3.  Rohrabacher should be expelled from office, charged with Treason, and subject to a military tribunal afterwards.

I suspect that once Team Trump synchronizes with their Russian handlers, the strategy to eliminate Mueller will be too try to get him to exceed his scope and then call for his removal.

The shiat is hitting the fan at the RNC.  These pigs knowingly took money from the Russian Government--they willingly put themselves in Putin's pocket.  That just makes it all the more disgusting.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) privately joked to colleagues last year that he thinks "Putin pays" Rohrabacher

Joked?

Some of the lawmakers laughed at McCarthy's comment. Then McCarthy quickly added: "Swear to God."

Why not? The plethora of coincidences that tie all these people to Russia are nothing. Though these coincidences are legion, and covered in half truths and lies, there is truly nothing to see here. Sure, some would have us believe all the extensive ties to Russia throughout the GOP mean something, they don't . Plus that nasty woman and emails.

Dana Rohrbacher met with Julian Assange in London, and reported that he received evidence that disproves Russian involvement with Trump or the election or some bullshiat he was told to say.

Also, I thought I read he had something to do with the congressional staffers that went to London and tried to track down Christopher Steele, but now I can only find the initial reports that didn't identify whose staffers they were.

That would be hard as long as Mueller dots is and crosses ts.  He is to investigate Russian involvement in the election, but if he finds any other crimes in the course of doing so, he is also allowed to investigate those also.  For instance, if Mueller is doing normal background work on a witness he has reason to believe may have pertinent information, and discovers this witness has certain proclivities of the underage sort, he can pursue an investigation to the kiddie-diddling of this witness (let's call him Ped Cruz).  Mueller can't go jut calling anyone as a witness and doing NSA-level combing of their lives, but if Cruz is known to have dealing with certain paternal figures with Russian ties, and has charges on his bank card for firmyoungtushies.com (and presumably Mueller would do basic background checks to make sure his witness is not compromised), the Mueller cannot just ignore the kiddie-diddling.  That's how Starr got to the bj - he kept interviewing witnesses about the Clintons losing money in Arkansas until he hit upon Monica, even though she wasn't involved in the land deal itself - and it was technically within his remit to do so.

Also his wife worked as head of Trump's campaign in FL and even tho they were in huge tax troubles in 2015 Lanny was able to to max out his donation to Dana, the only giving he gave Link Also their daughter was on the Trump campaign and was one of the six who couldn't get job at White House due to clearance issues

Trouble with that thing is that Mueller is keeping things very close to the vest. If he's going to go after Members of Congress, I'd be very surprised if they know about it before he drops the indictments in their lap.

And Members of Congress are within the scope of his inquiry if he gets leads from his investigations into the Trump Campaign. Just as a refresher, here's what he was appointed to cover:

(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii)any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii)any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a). (note: This is obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence and whatnot)

His job is to go after the Trump campaign. If, in the course of that investigation, he finds Members of Congress were involved, he can bring charges against them too. Sleep tight, lil' lift bro.
