You mean apart from not meeting with a single flood victim, remarking on how big his crowd size was and getting excited that his FEMA director would be "famous" because of the hurricane?

FlashHarry: You mean apart from not meeting with a single flood victim, remarking on how big his crowd size was and getting excited that his FEMA director would be "famous" because of the hurricane?

All of those were merely manifestations of pathological narcissism and sociopathic lack of empathy, not anything egregious like "57 states" or wearing a tan suit

You notice how they have comments disabled? They do that when they know the article is bullshiat dressed in Trump-brand clothing and they don't want people pointing it out.

Did he not brag about the size of the turnout at one stop?

Straighten me out here, I was told he and his new hair weave were in Houston for two hours.

If he f**ks up in Texas in under two hours, he's not President Trump, he's Mr. Bean.

2017-08-30 06:19:31 PM
This is the most hands-off* president ever. He's doing a good job by not getting in the way.

Look, I ain't trying to defend the guy. But did you really expect him to hit the ground and be all huggy and empathetic with victims? C'mon.

*well, unless he's grabbin' p*ssy

He wasn't in Houston because it was still raining and flooded, he went to Corpus Christi.
Everyone here has already covered his screw-ups/narcissism there.

Yes. It was a tremendous crowd of people with nowhere else to go.

You think this is over? We haven't seen anything yet.
Wait til the funding bill to rebuild crosses his desk before tax cuts, a border wall or a Government shutdown happens.

Imagine what could happen if another hurricane hits our nation, this season.

Complimenting the "turn out" wasn't a gaffe? Actually, by Trump gaffe standards, it was pretty tame.

Exactly this--the trip was a horrorshow that screamed "You don't matter".  At flood victims... and now Republicans want to take$1,000,000,000 in disaster relief and spend it on the wall.

Ooogh... I know, he could take the assistance Nl Mexico donated and put that towards the wall.  See how easy it was, libs?

Melania wore a bomber jacket and aviator glasses as her way of screaming for help to get someone to fly her away from her asshat husband.

Isn't he ending $1,000,000,000 in FEMA funds so he can build a wall to keep the Mexican Red Cross from coming over and assisting the people that have no help from the Republican Government?

Because that's the story I see going around in the media.

2017-08-30 09:10:07 PM
I think the trip actually showed how unimportant he is. He's showing that everyone else will do the job, everyone else will do the heavy lifting, he'll show up miles away to say a few things and disappear. Maybe that changes if he manages to aid package somehow, but really he didn't fark up the photo up, just was... meh. Seemed more like a faded, poncey celebrity who showed up and disappeared after giving away a few headshots with his blitzed-out wife in train. Inconsequential.

That was put into the budget proposal before Harvey.  It's DOA now, ever McConnell couldn't withstand the backlash.

Yep.

Also, Fox, a trip by a U.S. President is supposed to be gaffe-free. That's the standard.
Congratulating Two Scoops for not making a complete ass out of himself is like congratulating a toddler for getting through dinner without getting spaghetti in his hair.

I've never really like politicians showing up at disasters anyway, they aren't helping, they're in the way and are making things harder for the people trying to help.

But then if you don't show up morans will say they don't care, kind of a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.

Fox is not a news network. That is a lie. They are a propaganda network. They don't exist to report things, they exist to make them up.

It wasn't a gaffe free trip - and even just the hope that he would go ONE FARKING DAY without saying something horrible should tell you all you need to know about anyone supporting him - but there job isn't to report what is. Their job is quite literally to report what they want you to think, whether they will admit it or not.

Pieces of shiat that they are.

In the world of FOX news Trump is a regular president hampered by beurocracy but doing well under the circumstances. No one knows why the liberals are angry at him but hey, conservatives were mad at Obama so it's pretty much the same thing.

This is because FOX is now state run media that is poisoning the country.

He held a hurricane rally. Where people jumped up and down and cheered for him. A hurricane rally. I don't know if the people jumping up and down and cheering for Trump were actors, but... people at Trump's hurricane rally were cheerimg and jumping up and down for him. They were so happy. So filled with joy. At a hurricane rally... for Donald Trump.
