Funny. My brain reached the same conclusion, I'd wait for my third voice to pipe in to see if it's unanimous, but its focused on Emma Watson right now.

Funny how they claim he's not a republican... while republicans in congress submit bills that would basically kill the Mueller investigation in order to protect trump.

"Your head looks at polling data among Republican primary voters and sees how popular he is," said one Republican strategist.  "It would be malpractice not to advise clients to attach themselves to that popularity."

Tell that to Luther Strange, running for Jeff Sessions' senate seat in Alabama.  Strange has Trump's endorsement, yet is training Roy Farking Moore.

We're here today to honor our service members and to remember the sacrifices they have made in honor of duty, honor, country,  of the ability to realize that the people you work for are ruining the country, but you go along with it for cheap political points that enable the bending of the populace to your will.

The Greek philosopher Thucydides once said, "The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it." For it is clear now that those who risk their lives are not among the brave; it is instead those who must twist in the wind of polling data, who must pundit for those that they find abhorrent, because they are in constant battle with their blackened souls...:It is not what I can do for my country, it is what I MUST do for my political party!"

We're here today to honor our heroes, to remember their achievements, their courage and their dedication, and to say thank you for their sacrifices. Thinking of the heroes who join us in this group today and those who are here only in spirit, a person can't help but feel awed by the enormity of what we encounter. We stand in the midst of patriots and the family and friends of those who have nobly served. To be able to brush aside your sexual preferences to defend those that find you a deviant who will surely go straight to hell. To ignore your womanhood to protect those that shall grab you by your pussy because they feel it is right because of their perceived value in upper crust society. These are the true heroes today that we salute. For it is not the America you fight for...but it is the right to continue the political dogma that is most important.

We honor those consultants; they came from all walks of life, but they shared several fundamental qualities. They possessed courage, pride, determination, selflessness, dedication to duty and integrity - all the qualities needed to serve a cause larger than one's self. The cause of the party. The cause of growing the base. The cause of bringing dominion and control of the rest of the country to your beliefs...for these are things that we fight for.

Many of them didn't ask to leave their homes to fight on these televised battlefields and data collection from countless unnamed phone banks. Of travelling to various media outposts that range from New York City to Washington DC itself. Many didn't even volunteer. They didn't go into consulting because they loved the data. No! They were called to be part of something bigger than themselves. They were ordinary people who responded in extraordinary ways in extreme times. They rose to the party's call because they wanted to protect a party which promises so much, the ability to stick it to those you find even more treacherous and foreign than themselves. For the country is secondary only to having your pride ruined, your self-worth destroyed, just because that you know, in your heart of hearts, that no matter how vile he is, that no matter how many policies positions he takes that will hurt you personally and professionally, that no matter how much you KNOW what he is doing is self-serving at best at the ruination of the country, that as long as he wins, that is all that matters.

God bless the party!

It's Alabama.  They have a real hard-on for Roy Moore.  If Moore runs in the 2020 primary, he'll beat Trump in Alabama, and probably the other slave states as well.

I've noticed these tendencies this last week within myself.  I've been having severe problems having sympathy for Texans because of their political alignments, ideology, and such.   Plus they elect parasites that don't want anyone else to have disaster relief.

I don't like it,  try to correct myself,  but no idea how to fix it.  This kind of otherness is how wars start.

The those in elected positions, GOP Representative and Senators stood up to Trump then the problem goes away.  If you want to play it safe, only have Senators who won't be up for election for 5 years speak out against Trump.

The fact that only Republican 2 senators have said anything tells me that Trump's words are Republican words and Trump's actions are Republican actions.

Conservatives have never had a problem with their members being evil, their problem is with how blatant they are about it, sort of an "honor among thieves" sort of thing.  There's the unspoken agreement that they're supposed to brand their evil actions in fluffy wording like "pro-life" or "family values" or "law and order".

Basically, the entire Republican party went to Thailand for "developing the employment opportunities for youth in impoverished nations" and now they're sweating because Trump came back from the trip boasting about how they have "the best little boys."

This.  This right here.

They have to fight the investigation because they all got record fundraising numbers in 2016 via Russian Money Laundering.  Its less about supporting Trump and more about knowing they are all in the Russian Flagged boat.
