Trump announces full confidence in Julian Edelman.

/ Am I in the wrong tab?

2017-08-26 09:20:29 AM
God damned preseason.

2017-08-26 09:28:48 AM
I love Minitron, I really do. And he will always have a place in New England's hearts for that ridiculous catch last year.

But I will put it this way: You do realize what the Patriots did without Gronk for most of last year, correct subby?

2017-08-26 10:24:49 AM
I saw the clip, seems like Tom Brady is fine.

/Pats hater
//But come on, if they have Brady they're probably going to be in the AFC Championship game at least

Trump tweets condemnation of Deep State cornerback for inflicting injury on Edelman.  MAGA

2017-08-26 10:41:04 AM
I farking hate Brady, but until he's out, they have a decent chance. How many rings does Edelman have?

2017-08-26 11:31:56 AM
And yet somehow I sleep at night.

Gronk will get hurt at some point, but they'll go 13-3 anyway.

2017-08-26 11:34:13 AM
I really like Edelman. Fast and fearless. He will be back next year and the Pats are deep enough to win without him.

2017-08-26 11:41:06 AM
Yeah, just like there was no chance without Gronk...

2017-08-26 11:48:25 AM
The Pats will sign someone from the Browns practice squad who will become Super Bowl MVP

2017-08-26 12:05:27 PM
The Pats will do just fine.

*sigh*

2017-08-26 12:12:42 PM
Dammit.

2017-08-26 12:43:13 PM
I'm no Pats fan but as long Brady is under center and Darth Hoodie is coaching, they're in the mix

2017-08-26 12:43:32 PM
Thank goodness for preseason football.

2017-08-26 12:45:06 PM

HakunaMatata: Yeah, just like there was no chance without Gronk...

It's only a matter of time before Gronk is sidelined with an injury as well.

Since he's on my fantasy team, it's practically guaranteed :/

2017-08-26 12:52:08 PM
The AFC East is wide open now, J-E-T-goddammit I can't even.

2017-08-26 12:52:23 PM
For those of you cursing preseason football, you do realize that everyone involved needs these games to prepare for live action, right? Hell, the CBA limits everything from the number of practices to when teams can wear pads in practice, to how much tackling can go on.

2017-08-26 12:55:38 PM
I see the trumpfest has started in this thread already.

2017-08-26 12:59:57 PM
Honestly until the Pats show an injury hurts them and causes them to lose then its hard to believe they will.

Huh?

Also, this is why we have our fantasy draft AFTER the 3rd preseason game.

2017-08-26 01:03:04 PM
Annnd, they just announced it's torn...season over for Jules.

Dammit.

2017-08-26 01:11:56 PM
Big Ben is supposed to make a brief appearance in tonight's game, I wonder if this will make him rethink that.

2017-08-26 01:18:09 PM
Wishful thinking from Subby. Out yourself, Raiders fan? Steelers?

Sorry, prepare for another soul crushing AFC Championship loss to the Patriots.

2017-08-26 01:25:51 PM
I feel so bad for...fantasy leagues that have already drafted. That's why you wait till the pre season is over.

/he was my best player 2 years ago

The mood in the Pats' locker room is quite deflated.

2017-08-26 01:29:21 PM
In other news, the New York Jets have watched and studied many game films and have determined that you must run or pass the ball into the end zone in order to score points.

fatalvenom: Dammit.

Again we will see how overrated Tommy Boy is. Loses an above average receiver and they will end up in the cellar!!!
HaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

(Not laughing about the injury. Sucks for him.)

Reports of the Patriots demise have been greatly exaggerated.

No! Not the Patriots fourth best receiving option!  Whatever will they do?

2017-08-26 01:37:49 PM
It's too bad. I never wish injury on anybody. But the Patriots will survive, they'll win the division, and I'm sure they'll be the usual tough out.

That said, I'm hopeful that Pittsburgh will be able to take advantage of this, but they have their own problems with injuries every year. They have never been full strength when they needed to be, and it's cost them. So we'll see how it turns out.

No, no, the flow goes the other way. Pats stars become Browns busts.

/Which is why I'm glad the Browns didn't waste anything for Garoppalo...

It's almost like the team might have prepared for the possibility of a lost player by establishing depth with their offseason signings.

/they'll be fine

2017-08-26 02:04:40 PM
I didn't get a chance to watch the game,  but i was checking on highlights and saw the injury.  It looked like nothing happened,  so immediately I feared an ACL.

He'll heal very fast and people will accuse him of using HGH because he's a Patriot. Because those idiots don't know that they've discovered a new way to do the surgery that heals much faster.

Quickest link I could find on my phone out here in the woods.

They probably don't even need Brady for that.

I'd say third,  but it's funny how they are most equipped to lose their can't-lose receiver right now.

What the Steelers need (as usual) is for some other team to take out the Patriots before the Steelers have to play them.

So look for a team worth a decent defense whose weak spot is short throws in the middle of the field.   Great corners and linemen,  but sub-par middle linebacker,  most likely.

He's only the third to invoke Cheeto-in-Chief.

I remember the two-tight-end offense they ran when they had Hernandez and Gronk. And they picked up a pretty good tight end in the off-season. We'll see if Brandin Cooks up something for them.

2017-08-26 02:13:30 PM
Ok,  I'm done.  Be back later after I get a good buzz on.

2017-08-26 02:15:19 PM
It was a non-contact injury.  If it didn't happen then it would have happened soon.

2017-08-26 02:18:10 PM
That sucks bad!! But they have the best coach in the history of football so they will be fine.

/fark you pats. I hate you.

Yeah, but Hernandez killed that idea.

Gubbo: God damned preseason.

Rather that happen next week, Opening Day, first play from scrimmage?
