And would have been President if the DNC and DWS had not been bias. Numbers show he would have beat Donnie.

I like Ron Paul.

Well he and his supporters are responsible for Clintons loss. And don't give me that "but I voted for Clinton in the primary" garbage. The damage was done by then.  It's your fault Trump is president. I hope you're happy. You've helped destroy the country.

Good job, Bernie-bros!

The list of people who would have beaten Trump is long, massive, and all-encompassing.

They also share one common trait: none of them ever had a GOP Bullshiat machine AND the KGB up their asses.

Besides...Trump didn't get elected to make the country better.  He was elected to make people's lives worse.

Almost everyone is ashamed of Trump, including those who voted for him.
However, many Trump voters have been conditioned to HATE Hillary since 1993 ....
... when Limbaugh sold all those bumper stickers that said "Don't blame me, I didn't vote for HER!"
So the Trump voters regret voting for Trump, but have been programmed to hate Hillary.
So they wish for Bernie.
Not because of his policy positions, but because he is NOT Trump and he is NOT Hillary.

Just less runny.

In my case, you have the backwards.  I voted for Sanders in the primary because I believed he would do more good for this country than HRC.  However, in the general election, I did cast a vote for Hillary in the standard lesser of two evils ploy.

Oddly enough, neither the DNC nor DWS pick the Democratic nominee, the voters did that, and they chose Hillary.

Who knows whether or not Bernie could have won in the general, it would've been an interesting race, but it's also been debated to death many times already, and there are far too many variables and what-ifs to draw any reasonable conclusion.

Bernie is popular because he never made it past the presidential primaries.  If he'd been the Democratic candidate, hundreds of millions of dollars would have been spent informing us that Bernie is a corrupt demonic communist, and half the country would have believed it.

Fark off with the Bernie-blaming shiat every farking time there's a thread about Bernie.

You know who's responsible for Trump? People who voted for Trump, and people who didn't vote at all.

I'm sick of you trying to lay the blame of that walking tumor of a man on the hands of people who voted for someone who wants to help America ACTUALLY be a first-world country.

2017-08-26 02:52:17 AM
Of course he was. And he'd have won, if it hadn't been for the Clinton/Wasserman-Schultz cabal. Bernie polled stronger against Trump than Hillary did. Democrats committed suicide in trying to coronate her.

I wouldn't go quite that far but Bernie's maddening inability to step aside, regardless of what happened (was there favoritism?  You bet.  Would Bernie have been a better candidate?  Hard to say, who knows what lived in his closets) was what I felt stymied a great deal of Clinton's campaign.  It forced her to fight two battles and did not allow her to hone in on her agenda or strategy.  Was her strategy "Trump bad" all along?  Probably.  We'll never know, will we?

The only way democrats lost to the clown Trump is because they spent years shiatting all over what used to be their base in an ongoing effort to destroy the New Deal.

But thanks for the infighting, that really helped. Hope you're "inspired" next time around.

I love how they act as if without Bernie, nobody would have given a crap about the Clinton neo-corporate liberalism which was turning off so many voters in droves.  The reckoning faced by the DNC in 2016 was a long time coming, and wasn't Bernie's fault. If anything, he gave voice to a lot of disaffected voters and appealed to many independents who found little else on the Democratic ticket to like.

Bernie's popular because he's honest, sticks to his issues for decades.  Very few politicians can pull that off without ending up in jail, divorced, or shot. Trump voters are to blame for Trump. Putin is to blame for Trump. Hillary's craptastic campaign and DWS are to blame for Trump. Stop trying to blame the country's troubles on a crotchety 70 something Jew in Vermont who Keeps Being Popular, no matter how many times everyone is told how horrible he is.

Bernie Sanders was like the bad parent who comes home at christmas and tells the kids "You can have candy for breakfast every day if you come with dad!" Meanwhile, Hillary had been there for years putting in the hard work.
