Is the headline supposed to shock us that a 31-year old was making $90k?

2017-08-25 01:51:18 PM
I thought that was "proven" to be "fake news"?

(Notice the quotes)

Seriously though, I thought they flat out denied this position existed?

The Oval Office is starting to sound more like the Führerbunker every day. Hopefully it will play out the same way.

2017-08-25 01:53:57 PM
Come on... I saw on Brietbart the other day that everyone loves Trump now.

2017-08-25 01:53:57 PM
Why not just make them up? Fact-checkers will debunk them, Trump will cry "fake news", Trump-voters will believe and admire him for standing up to the dishonest media, and liberals, stunned and amused at the blatant display of shenanigans, will think no one could possibly be dumb enough to vote for Trump a second time so they themselves won't bother to vote. Problem solved.

Granted, worst case scenario.

More likely that it's because Daily Stormer lost its domain name registration.

From the original story by Vice:

Twice a day since the beginning of the Trump administration, a special folder is prepared for the president.

All arrogance and no self-esteem.

"Human Echo Chamber" will certainly stand out on his CV.

Is that because everything is fake news these days?

Yes. Especially in DC when that salary, giving the rent he must pay, qualifies him for food stamps.

That's not bad pay, but talk about the world's most soul-crushing job. I mean when the Assistant Crack Whores think they've got it good, you know you've made a mistake.

Well, he was either a GS-12 Step 5 or a GS-13 Step 1.  Probably a PAO track of some sort.  GS 12 usually requires at least a Master of Something degree plus a lot of private sector experience.  13 is usually a supervisory position or someone with a PhD.  They both require you being really farking good at your job and/or knowing someone to get you in the door.

Hey CNN?
Just this week, Trump spent a considerable amount of time trashing the media during his campaign-style rally in Phoenix, Arizona, a rant that resulted in the crowd chanting "CNN sucks."

I really wish you incompetent farks would pay attention to this.  Right wingers will, literally, murder and then rape your reporters if Trump asked it.  That's how much they hate you.  Stop trying to get them to watch your station by having right wing trolls on it.  It's not gaining you viewers.

that's a GS-13 equivalent with the DC "locality pay" bump and the GS scale only goes to G-15 (after that you have SES, schedule C and the Fed reserves' "financial professionals" pay scale) nearby Loudoun COunty has the highest median Income in the US and it's $86,000, so it's a decent living even in DC

I wonder if that is more or less than getting Trump a good shrink instead.  I'm going to bet decent counseling costs much, much more.  In a way Trump is self-medicating through paying folks to stroke his ego.

foo monkey: "Human Echo Chamber" will certainly stand out on his CV.

Back when I did my own hiring while working for an 8A federal contractor, (~2004-2009)a buddy on the government side asked if he could give me the resume of a friend of his who was having trouble getting work to see if it fit anything I had open.    His credentials were pretty strong, but when i flipped to work experience, I understood the problem: "2008:Strategic Communications Team and Media Liaison for the campaign of Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin"

Food stamps are a biit of a stretch but I lived in DC at 31 making 90k and I would not call my lifestyle extravagant in the least with Fairfax/Loudoun rents and commuting costs.

Considering the nature of the job he should've asked for more money.

Just start circulating bad stories instead.
You will eventually get fired, but you get paid until then.
Also, lulz benefits.

I once watched someone whose job was loading cardboard cutouts into a folding machine at a tea-packing plant.

That job would be less soul-crushing than being Trump's emotional fluffer.

Why do all these people resign cowering instead of going out in a blaze of glory and telling Trump or at least the world how they really feel? I guess the blood contract they sign to work at the Dark... I mean Trump Tower is real.

I think Loudon is over $100k now... hell, the median income here in Forsyth County, GA is almost $86k.
