If it's evil, Trump will do it.

If Obama had a hand in it, Trump will repeal it.

This is the ENTIRETY of his decision making matrix.

If someone wants to put that in a flow chart, please do so.

Maybe the panel was all "Mr. President, climate change is a liberal conspiracy, a non-issue, something you need not concern yourself with" and DJT was all "quit yer bullshiat and get out of here, go on - out! You think I'm going to sit here and listen to your lies?"

Even worse is what Scott Pruitt is up to, and desperately trying to hide.  Post from Robert Reich today:

Scott Pruitt's crackdown at the EPA continues. Since taking office, he has begun to roll back everything from safe drinking water protections to clean air laws, but he doesn't want the public to know about it. Pruitt has gone to unprecedented lengths to maintain secrecy:
1) EPA employees now need an escort to reach his office on the top floor.
2) Senior staff give verbal orders on major policy decisions as not to create a paper trail.
3) Employees are often asked not to take notes during meetings and leave their cellphones at the door.
4) Pruitt avoids making calls on his office phone.
5) His schedule has been removed from the EPA's website.
6) He has requested 24/7 armed guards, unprecedented for an administrator.
7) Congressional oversight inquiries have gone unanswered.
8) Requests for public information have been delayed.
There's a simple reason for these drastic measures. Pruitt wants to hide his actions from the American people as he does the bidding of the oil and gas industry. If he were truly fulfilling the EPA's mission to protect the public, there'd be nothing to hide.

And a NYT article on the subject.

Of all Trumps intentionally destructive cabinet members Pruitt is showing himself to be the most effective at actually doing the dirty work.

At least it's just Executive actions/orders, and Vermin Supreme can revert them back when he's in office.

Technical quibble: EPA Administrator is not a member of the Cabinet

When exactly did caring about the environment become a thing that the right wing hates and says liberals are making up?

Country band Alabama, who I would definitely not say is at all liberal, recorded a song about environmental protection in 1990. Really, by its nature, shouldn't environmental protection be a core part of conservatism?

Near as I can tell, what happened is that the corporate-industrial wing of the Republican Party successfully persuaded their base that any attempt whatsoever to restrict what corporations can do is communism.

It's been in progress for most of my life, and Reagan's little speech against "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" is part of the groundwork (it probably predates that, but I don't know much from before that point except from history).
