The only people losing now are Trump and his followers- who at this point are either family members or in the open racists.

No one takes him seriously and no one believes he represents the United States. His own Republican colleagues are against him, the military is loyal to the country, not him (Mattis Tillerson Haley etc. stick around to prevent him from doing more damage, not because they are on his team).

This administration is circling the drain, big time. Believe me.

The black community was not taken in by this bullshiat.

Some suburban white voters were, however.  And that was the point.  The ONLY point.  To mollify white voters to ignore the racism inherent in everything he was saying.

It comforted their biases.  They felt like they should care that he was a racist and didn't want to be seen supporting him.  But, hey, he's right, nothing else has worked for "you people" so how could it get any worse for you?  (i.e. "you people" are never happy and will never get out of poverty anyway...)

Because such white voters have zero conception of what the black community is like or what it really happening in it, except what their local bleed-to-lead news tells them (or Fox, which is local news with more blondes).

Yup. People have a difficult time extrapolating character. If someone tells me they spend all their disposable income on cockfighting. And then they invite me to a party. I'm thinking I can make a good guess at the experience awaiting me. No different from picking a president.

Great farkin' point! It was, in some respect, his most brazen assertion. He was cynically taunting them to vote for him. More of them did vote for him than Hillary's pollster reckoned. And now they are eating shiat. Most of the Black Conservatives on CNN are now stridently anti-Trump, with the exception of the deeply pathetic Paris Dinard, who I suspect is probably Haitian or some other West Indian Isle with French "Heritage", and not really all that AfricanAmerican. Kind of like how Colin Powell is West Indian (or is it Jamaican so not entirely of the AfricanAmerican stamp.

Of course the same came be said of Barack Obama, but he did represent the AfricanAmerican community  to a great degree. And so does Powell to some degree, which is a plus.

The Dinard guy is just plain weird.

He hat thing allegedly has to do with his mood. Red means angry, white means good mood. That's based on what people who worked for him said.

Not all Republicans are against him. Many (not most, but a significant number) are silent, and a few sheepishly give their support. These are the same guys who always write off the black and latino vote because 'those people always vote Democrat for some reason'.  Yeah, that reason is when shiat like this happens, Republicans stand by and don't do shiat. Because in their hearts, they realize that Donny's voter base is also their voter base. They don't want to admit it, they probably don't share the same views, but they don't want to lose those votes either.

Well Trump explicitly thanked and credited black voters as being integral to his win... not because they voted for him, but because they didn't turn out for Hillary.

"And they're smart and they picked up on it like you wouldn't believe. And you know what else? They didn't come out to vote for Hillary. They didn't come out. And that was a big-so thank you to the African American community."

Well, I mean it may seem like there is a lot going on with the Trump Administration only about 6 months in:

- Hiring a national security advisor -- Michael Flynn who colluded with Russians.
- Not bothering to really divest at all, letting his kids
- Hiring his kids to positions of power
- Publicly accusing the previous president of a felony (wiretapping)
- New chief of staff
- New communications director
- New communications director again
- Firing the FBI director who is investigating you after he did not pledge loyalty
- Threatening the FBI director publicly
- Investigation into collusion with Russians
- Trump using the presidency for his own direct profit (Mar-a-lago cost went up, selling Kushner connections for visas if you invest, etc.)
- Trump using the White House to endorse Ivanka's clothing and Melania's jewelry
- Trump promoting and supporting actual Nazis
- Firing Bannon

But I think you all forget how much worse things under Obama.  Yeah.

I attribute most of that to 30 years of right wing AM radio lies about the Clintons.

True, probably in more ways than one.  Fewer blacks also lowers the unemployment numbers.  Those race wars won't start themselves.  I wonder what the reaction would be if hundreds of brothers all got together all tactical and shiat with AR-15s and marched through some high-end suburban town to save black culture...
