The guy who was obsessed with Clinton?

No. Wait. Don't go.

could be he was simply done with his part of the investigation.

Giuliani's FBI source may have decided it was time to leave with the end in sight. Or Mueller found out about something Strzok did and HR is the last stop on the way out.

Call me when there is something of substance to report beyond "ooooooooooooooo.... she kissed HIM on the playground!"

Let Mueller do his work, issue, whatever findings, get indictments, and whatever, but meanwhile, hold on to your clutching pearls and fainting couches.

"Alright. We pulled you out so you can give us the dirt on what's going on in there."

"In Mueller's group?"

"Yeah. Give us something to work with."

"You're screwed."

"Oh. Alright. Uh... Thanks."

Mrs. Smith: Well, Bobby did like his fart jokes when he in 5th grade....

I hope it doesn't mean that Wray is minioning his way to tenure. I mean, he's the guy who defended Christie when that fat fark shut down Fort Lee, isn't he? He's a great replacement for Comey, very independent minded I bet.

This.

Sounds like he was given the gift of a new position from which he will retire in the very near future. I doubt it had a thing to do with the investigation. More likely fibbing on travel vouchers, grab assing, misuse of computers, something along those lines - the usual dumbass stuff people do.

Unless Strzok leaks something, we have no way of knowing what this means. In terms of actual information, it's little more than a reminder that Mueller is still investigating.

/"strzok" sounds like someone trying to name a string variable and doesn't quite get how Hungarian notation works

strtok breaks a string into tokens, so obviously strzok breaks a string into zokens.

Kind of, although at least with the Manafort subpoena/raid they actually did something, whereas the team shuffling around is as much inside-baseball as you can get and still be a matter of public record at all. (And yes, this goes for when Mueller hires some big name, too.)

Clearly this is a sign of profound dischord and chaos in the Muller team.

According to anonymous sources, they are riddled with white supremacist Soviet spies and stomped a kitten to death while singing the Host Wessel song over Skype with Richard Spencer. Strzok wanted to tell this to the American people, but Muller blackmailed him with compromising info about his transgender daughter dating an alt-right Nazi sympathizer that they discovered with with illegal wiretaps.

Signed, CNN.

My point is Mueller won't tolerate leakers, like say the Chatty Cathy whose name rhymes with Ftrzok and yaps about predawn raids that were kept secret for two-three weeks. If such a person actually existed.

Oh, you think that's why someone might have got the boot. Gotcha. Of course, since Mueller won't tolerate leakers, we won't find out for sure if you're right until long after the fact.

I figure it's either that or he's enmeshed in the FBI's OIG probe of the Hillary fiasco that forced Comey's hand. He was counterintel, which I suspect means he was attached to the porous NYC FBI office and perhaps Mueller "inherited" him.

The email probe turned into an internal affairs thing and is ongoing. Not clear why Svdjpork was reassigned to Mueller's team, unless it was because he was part of the supplanted Senate investigation.

it would be amusing to me if it literally boiled down to, "my transfer FINALLY got approved and I'm taking the 'retirement-that-still-gets-paid' job in HR I wanted.  Imma start going to work in my hip-waders and fishing every day!"
