"It's a racist platform and you know it," said former Bush ethics chief Richard Painter.

"Am I a racist for writing for it?" Darling said.
"Breitbart.com is read by 35 million people a month. Are they racist?"

"Yup," said [Howard] Dean. "Sure are."

Sorry, Darling.

Painter is completely out of fncks and sick of all this Nazi sh*t.

If alt-rightists got pounded more, it would be a good thing for all concerned.

Defining "pounded" is left as an exercise.

Found it funny, couldn't find a better thread for it.
It's kind of responsive to an argument that Breitbart isn't a racist platform.
Don't overthink it.

Here's one a bit more on topic from a different GOP strategist:

Also do they shiat get 35 million readers. 35 million unique page views more like, and that probably inflated horribly

GOOD! Take the gloves off. I'm sick of the first question being "but what about the NAZI'S feelings?" when these interviews take place.

First question should always be: "Can you describe, other than the language you speak, the difference between you and a nazi?"

I love repeating this story of a phone call with my republican mother:

Mom: " do you think Andrew Breitbart was murdered?"

Me: " I sure hope so"

We don't talk politics much anymore after that

About damned time. Enough with dancing around it. Breitbart has supported the alt-right for quite a long time, and was happy to provide a forum for white supremacists. It's good to see it being said, in direct, simple language.

He was murdered by those brown people who made that cocaine who then forced him to have to use it to stay awake writing articles about keeping america safe from said brown people.

But not just Breitbart. How about Savage, Levin, Loesch... all of them are part of the problem. All share the same rhetoric. They're farms of this poisonous dialogue.

[Bannon] has been recognized as somebody who is a major figure in the alt-right. What's the difference between that and being a Nazi?

There is none. They ARE Nazi's.

Breitfart may not be racist [almost assuredly is, though] but it is sure as hell, hate-speech.

Is pluralizing Nazi with an apostrophe a Fark (and every other media I peruse) joke in the spirit of grammar Nazis or was it an honest mistake that literally everyone has made this weekend?

Yes.

It may be 'correct' to omit the apostophe, but to me [and many others, I suspect] it doesn't 'look' right without it.

If this were 1940 Germany, I could totally see our press turning to a commentator on a news show and saying, "So tell us, why is Hermann Göring wrong?  Why shouldn't we kill 6 million jews?"

The singular is Nazischwein. The plural, per German rules, is Nazischweine.

Yes. He committed the one unpardonable sin in American politics - he inadvertently looked like a dork in the media one time. The Dean Scream is as memorable as Dukakis In A Tank or Bachmann Eating A Corn Dog. We're in a country where we worry more about the dress code and demeanor of our politicians than we do their intelligence, integrity, policies, or capability, and Dean unfortunately goofed in the era of "IMAGE IS EVERYTHING."
