Just step over the baseline, moron. No need to bend down and touch it. Superstition just gets you hurt.

But yeah, getting swept by the Phillies is pretty bad, too.

Considering how bad it looked, he is lucky it is just a bone bruise and is just on the 10 day DL

Phils have been a bit more watchable since All Star game. Have losing streaks but a couple of winning streaks also. If they could play against the rest of the League like they play against the Braves, Phillies would be best team in MLB rather than the worst.

Well yeah. 11 of their 42 wins this year were against the Barves.

I'm fairly certain Dansby Swanson's locker contains a voodoo doll with "Camargo" written on it.

After all their years of dominance of the National League, and especially 1992 when they took down my Pirates the last time they had a realistic chance at the World Series, I'm enjoying their descent into ineptitude. Maybe they'll have to endure 21 consecutive losing seasons, too.

They have one of the top farm systems right now so it would take an ungodly amount of ineptitude for that to happen. So it's possible.

Gave up on baseball after maddux retired.  Went to the new stadium and hated it.  Imagine if a company that designs high-end strip malls makes a stadium.  Also hate the location.

I can only hope that this starts an anti-superstition.  Psss: doing dumb stuff for superstition is bad luck...

It goes beyond superstition, back in 2009 this happened:
Atlanta Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar strained an abdominal muscle and left after the fifth inning of Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Florida Marlins.
Escobar said he hurt himself jumping up and down in the on-deck circle before his fifth-inning at-bat. Escobar usually makes repeated jumps to warm up before hitting.
