"Alberts on May 20, 2014, was driving with a 0.49 percent blood-alcohol level..."

Wouldn't most people be comatose or dead at that BAC?

Too many cricket nachos.

FTFA: She quit field sobriety tests because she was "pissed off" and had a 0.38 percent preliminary alcohol level.

I had no idea that "pissed off" was a valid reason to stop a sobriety test. Also, .38? That's probably just a warm-up for her. Hope she gets some help.

La Crosse County Circuit Judge Ramona Gonzalez met her outside a restaurant and drove Alberts' car when the judge deemed her too impaired to drive, reports stated. Officers stopped the car about 25 minutes after the crash in an alley on Madison Street and cited Alberts for first-offense drunken driving and hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle.

Since when is it standard procedure for a judge to drive a citizen's car? As opposed to, oh, I don't know....calling the police, maybe?

So, she'll receive a citation?  That's nice - good for her.

Netflix to do a 10 part series on her probable innocence and the underlying class warfare in LaCrosse that has precipitated her arrests.

Weekend was coming up and the judge wants Monday off so has to keep her out for the weekend?

Is it just me or was that one somewhat confusing article?  When you have to read and re-read an article several times and you're still scratching your head as to what exactly happened (especially the third and last incident) well that's not very good writing.

2 OWIs? Is that even a crime in Wisconsin?

Judge aside, that Ranchero looks like a fun ride to roll in a field.

Even in perfect condition, that's one car that'll never be regarded as a "classic".

After years of chronic alcoholism, she has built up a tolerance to the point that she can be ambulatory at BAC levels that would kill a "normal" human.
