Will the Kevin Spacey wannabe ( House of Cards had a coherent plot unlike Congress) hold the leakers accountable when it turns out the leak was from a trump person subpoenaed to produce records?

2017-08-04 05:50:04 PM
Definition of leaks soon to be expanded to include sworn testimony in open court.

I don't think she has much to worry about; Mueller has been airtight so far.

I think that's his fetish.

He's worried about Mueller?  Bob Mueller?  Who managed to keep two different grand jury panels targeting the president of the united states secret for weeks?

Really?

2017-08-04 07:25:52 PM
You mean the guy that kept his grand jury secret for weeks?

2017-08-04 07:26:34 PM
"I've never seen anything like it. ... I've never seen transcripts of the presidential phone calls in the front page of The Washington Post. How would you like to be a world leader talking to President Trump? So this undermines his ability to be [an] effective president," he said.

First off, I've never seen anything like a President telling another world leader that he lied to the electorate just to get their votes.

Second, "effective president?" Shirley, you must be joking.

Leaks. From a Boy Scout & Marine & Vietnam Veteran. Bobby Three Sticks.

That dog don't hunt, Lindsey.

Nobody is leaking the plans to the B3 bomber.
Trump wants to keep his stupidity secret.
Tough.
Mueller isn't going to let TESTIMONY leak from the Grand Jury.

If Mueller is accountable for any leaks that come from his office then Trump is accountable for the leaks that come from his office.

2017-08-04 07:33:12 PM
Anything to keep the Republicans from being held responsible for criminal acts and treason, eh Lindsey?

2017-08-04 07:33:24 PM

FlashHarry: I don't think she has much to worry about; Mueller has been airtight so far.

Yes.  But the Trump Camp leaks like a sieve.  They're going to release information and blame it on Mueller.  Lindsey Graham just telegraphed that in Naval Flag Code.

meatofmystery: Boy, truth-tellin sure sends the hackles up the backs of the GOP

Lindyhop Gargleblaster knows that if Mueller really is following Russian money the entire GOP house of Uno cards is about to go down, and leaks risk his chance of being able to bug out in time to beat the torches and pitchforks.

2017-08-04 07:37:35 PM

Trump tax leak, please please please!

2017-08-04 07:40:40 PM
I wonder how much this has to do with several Republicans getting caught in having taken millions of dollars from Russian Oligarch Len Blatnavik?

2017-08-04 07:44:04 PM
First, Lindsey Graham isn't in charge of determining what is and isn't classified material in the Mueller investigation, those documents already have been marked with whatever classification they are supposed to have.
Second, Mueller doesn't leak.
Third, stuff that is public record, i.e. the existence of subpoenas, and testimony in open court, are not Graham's to complain about.
Of course, if Don Jr goes in front of the Grand Jury and subsequently blabs to reporters, Graham can feel free to do what he wants. Which is probably nothing.

2017-08-04 07:46:11 PM
Lindsey is such a twat!

2017-08-04 07:46:55 PM
Can't wait for the media to record the calls confirming what the WH 'leaks' to them, and then blames Mueller.  Then after letting the WH scream about a 'leak' from Meuller, turns around and gives up the identity of that single leaker, just to show how they're attempting to obstruct the investigation.

2017-08-04 07:48:20 PM
People leaking documents like the phone call transcripts that show that the President of the United States is uniquely unqualified to hold office, and a farking buffoon who is a danger to the world aren't criminals, they're god damn heroes.

And grand jury "leaks" aren't always leaks. Sometimes they are just people reporting what they know. If I'm standing the the lobby of a business, and someone comes in and serves a subpoena while I'm standing there, I'm completely free to tell any journalist about it that I feel like.

So basically, the white house and/or GOP is about to leak something and blame Mueller for it, and fire and prosecute him.

What a wonderful country. /s

F*ck you, Lindsey. Threaten Mueller. Go ahead.

Not to mention the leaks coming out of Russian hookers....

To quote LBJ "I don't care if its true, I want to hear him deny it."

Yeah.  It's hard for me to accept that Graham's statements are not obstruction of justice.  Mueller should seek an indictment against Graham for those comments, let a jury decide.

2017-08-04 08:06:20 PM
Graham got some of that Russian money tossed his way too. Or at least his pac did.

2017-08-04 08:06:41 PM
Mueller was FBI director for 12 years. He ran a pretty clean shop. Mueller handpicked his special investigative staff from those he's worked with over his career.

Graham has much bigger things to worry about. Whitehouse has been leaking like a sieve. A certain percentage of those leaks can be attributed to Priebus, but he's no longer there. While he was still there, it was Rence, Kush, and Bannon fighting their own real world WH hunger games using the press as their assassins.

Kelly the new WH chief of staff won't be playing their games. Replacing Kelly in the White house civil-war-of-power looks like HR McMaster of all people. I forget where I just read it;  H. R. McM is becoming public enemy #1 of Bannon. He's been purging the NSC staff of Bannon loyalists. It's hard to disagree with HR. Most of them never should have been appointed in the first place with their wacky conspiracy based theories.

. . . for any leaks from his probe.

That is truly precious.

I fear this is too true.  shiat just got real today with the revalation that McConnel and other prominent Republican lawmakers have been taking money from Oligarchs.  Bear in mind that Mueller didn't even know about the Trump Tower meeting until it broke in the news.  Now he's convened a Grand Jury because of it.  Think about all the other things he doesn't know about?

Leaks indeed.  Lindsey Graham's statement has a desperate feel to it.  I think Dallas News struck a real nerve with the GOP this morning.

I think these congressional dum-dums need to be careful when making threats against the FBI. I'll bet they have footage of Graham playing Tappa-Tappa in a men's room on a South Carolina interstate.

Well, there's that Russian money in the U.S. election that the CIA FISA warrant was after.

Or, maybe its even more.  Who knows.

Either way, folks, its over.  Turn out the lights on Democracy when Graham or Ryan have a quote saying they're 'concerned' but don't do anything.
