that was such an odd thing to say, unless it was absolutely true and Trump didn't realize it wasn't mentioned.

No shiat there were Russians working in his campaign. At least one, a prominent campaign advisor, was Boris Epshteyn.

"Former FBI Director Jim Comey said three times the president is not under investigation and we have no reason to believe that has changed," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Thursday when asked about the grand jury.

Then you're a farking idiot.  What Comey said months ago has no bearing on what Mueller is doing now and well, there's been a lot of shiat down the drain since then.

Yep that's my take away. Like Sessions saying he never talked about the campaign with anyone from Russia. I mean more than once. I mean more than once a day. I mean over breakfast. I mean I recuse myself and must go fetch a fainting couch.

It's a "preposition game" very much like his bombastic declaration that he "Had no deals IN Russia", which is probably true...now deals WITH Russia?  Particularly through Deutschbank's "Wealth Management" branch? Yeah he's in hock to them for somewhere between half and three-quarters of a billion dollars

I was in Russia but not in that hotel.
I was in that hotel but not Obama's room.
I was in Obama's room but there were no hookers.

Well, since Trump's campaign was working for the Russians, perhaps it's technically true.

Conservatives do not understand that situations can change over time. This is why they continually reference the Democratic party's support of slavery as "proof" that Democrats today are racist, and why they dismiss any public opinion surveys that show support for progressive ideals that were not popular twenty years ago (same-sex marriage is a frequent example).

Naw, gotta disagree with y'all there.

See, REPUBLICANS, (that is, normal republicans) do that.  It's like they have a secret university that teaches them those games.  Problem with Trumpy is he can't even get the preposition game right.  He says shiat like, "no Russians working on Trump Campaign" and it's STILL WRONG.

Okay it was public and nonconsentual, but it was in another country, so it's okay.

Okay one of those hookers that I may have violated without their consent may have been an American citizen.

Okay, so I sexually assaulted an American woman in a foreign country, but it definitely was not my daughter Ivanka...

Yup. They had a bunch of "advisors" tied to Russia (Manafort, Page, Stone, etc) and of course his own financial ties but technically no Russian nationals (that I'm aware of).

It's as if Comey's statement somehow makes Trump immune to investigation or something.  It's almost as if they're too farking goddamn stupid to remember that they used this line to defend against the obstruction charges for firing Comey, and that it's as meaningless now as it was then.

In Hair Furor's NPD addled brain, he spins his webs of lies and horsecrap, and hangs them on half-truths and Context-less facts like these to give them Substance and Validity.

Here's what passes for his thought process on the matter: Because Comey said "you are not the subject of a current investigation", by shouting and crowing and Tweeting to the World about it, he can somehow LOCK THAT MOMENT IN PLACE.

Should The Donald ever come under investigation, it's not because Circumstances changed, IT SIMPLY MAKES COMEY, AND BY EXTENSION THE ENTIRE FBI, LIARS.(and conveniently discredits any troublesome 'investigations' they might have been looking into)

Besides which and I have said this before, if someone asks an FBI director whether they are under investigation, if they are not under investigation, then the answer is "no".  But if they are under investigation, the answer is "no".
