His only regret is boneitis... and calling an online press conference.

I'll come in again.

Most likely he got word that his "press event" wasn't going to be well attended, his 15 minutes are up.

His divorce lawyer called and yelled at him.

I would surmise that's pretty much routine.

The lawyer has his number on speed dial by now.

I was wondering if he was going to drop a bunch of secrets at this event in retaliation for being fired.

Maybe he has a shred of decency and is going to try and fix things with the wife. She only just filed, so there is time to solve the problems before a hearing and that. The guy is a nutjob, but if he is really going to try and resolve things and be there for his kids, then good on him.

The funny thing is, outside of his little power trip, he might have actually managed to repair some things in Comms at the WH with the media... but he'll never have the chance now, and there is little chance anybody remaining there will pick up the cause.

He sacrificed his family for the white house job. That job kicked him to the curb so he's going back for his second choice.  I hope he can learn from this and be there for his kid. I also hope his wife doesn't make it easy for him.

You'd have to be a fool to imagine that Mooch's conduct last week wasn't scripted--it may have been loud, crude, and chaotic but when it was all finished Mooch's antics trimmed RNC influence and optics from the White House like laser scalpel.

With Priebus and Spicer gone, the RNC only knows what Trump--or his on-sight handlers--wants them to know when he wants them to know it.  Likewise, anything the RNC wants done will be done if and only if Trump's handlers want it done--else Trump will never even be told about it.

Those are surgical strikes, my friends.  Influence gone, optics dark.  It is a very big anti-establishment fark You.

Was Putin responsible?  I's this his opening salvo against Congressional Republicans? I don't know.  But if Vladimir Putin was responsible for Scaramucci's brief and effective reign of chaos it was absolutely farking brilliant-- you literally could not ask for something more from a sleeping asset.

Or his wife--who had to be well aware that he was an obnoxious, miserable, morally vacant d-bag when she married him--was in on the scheme.

No need to be a cynic, but realism must be heeded.  Devil is in the details.  Mooch has not worn his wedding ring for months.  He has already moved on.  This is his second divorce.  He's looking to get through it quickly rather than hope against all possible odds for any possible rapprochement.

That's an odd image next to his name. Shouldn't it be a blue check? Not sure this is really him.
