It's people like Scott Pruitt that make me want hell to be a real place because if it exists, he's got a one way ticket through the door punched for himself

So much winning from the Trump administration!

There is no competence like INcompetence.

These f*cking idiots can't even do evil right.

The environmentally conservative progressives are trying to keep the conservatives from liberally spewing toxins.  It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world.

I'm a little shocked they folded.  I doubt Pruitt really cares about losing the legal fight as long as he can screw over environmentalists one more day.

I'm sure he just ran over a few trees in his Hummer in protest.

Ah, schadenfreude. Pruitt sued the EPA more than a dozen times. Now...

The EPA's website says breathing air containing ozone "can reduce lung function and increase respiratory symptoms" like asthma.

This just in.....EPA Chief Scott Pruitt is working to get that changed to read "Ozone is good for you! You libtards are always talking about saving the ozone layer!"

All the worst people.

It's the Christian thing to do to let businesses promote profits over human existence, because Jesus will just make it all right again after the apocalypse... At least that's what I assume that they're learning in those Bible studies in the White House (and ignoring the rich person, eye of a needle stuff).

You know what would be great in an article about 15 states doing something? The f*cking names of the 15 states.

I'm not sure about that. Isn't there in Genesis about God making Man the steward of his Creation?
And that to maintain and foster that creation is one way we are enjoined to give glory to God?
I don't remember the part where He told us we could shiat all over His creation, and the wipe our ass with it.

Me neither, but apparently part of the Bible, to some of these people, is to actually completely decimate the Earth, because to do otherwise would signify that we doubt God's ability to make it all right again.

I wish I were kidding.

According to the picky and choosy Christians, apparently that part isn't in there. Mainly it seems like every Christian denomination picks what it thinks is true and then claims it's "the *only* truth". Especially the prosperity gospel Christians, directly contradicting their own teacher's teachings by saying that wealthy people are more "blessed" than poor people due to the material wealth.

Probably has a little bit to do with losing a similar lawsuit recently over methane regulations.

That doesn't even make any sense.

Just because you think highly of somebody's ability to do something doesn't mean you make more work for them.

This is actually something that gives me a little hope for the future, kind of like the Paris Agreement.
We wind up with incompetent fools in power somehow that try to negate or remove us from standards, and we just say "Yeah, that's nice, we are doing it anyway. This is important, and you are stupid."
If only that attitude prevailed everywhere!

Screwing the libs on the one hand.

Losing lots of money and prestige in court on the other.

Man, that's a tough call.

The Genesis stewardship is read as 'given dominion over'.  i.e. it is now within Man's authority to do whatever he pleases to use the earth to multiply.

The 'burn it all down' is probably from one of many such metaphorical passages including Isaiah chapter 6.

Obviously I don't agree with those points of view but that's where certain whack job evangelicals are coming from.  They are trying to bring on the rapture...an event not mentioned in the Bible by the way.  It was made up in the 1800s by some goofy end timer minister.  I personally had my boss in the military in 2004 while in that freak hole in the middle east tell me we were there to bring on the rapture.  Freaked me out....never trusted the guy again.  I think he thought I was one of him.  I know enough evangelical talk to sometimes trick them into thinking I'm one and then the stuff they say is so disturbing after that, it's ridiculous.  I had one just the other day say something to me about me or my family or something weird (forgot exactly) staying the 'original color' i.e. white as in the tower of Babel.

This is why ISIS thrives.  If you are truly convinced that none of this matters on earth, then you will be willing to do anything.

These are the same people who think they're doing the movie theater employees a favor when they spread popcorn all over the floor.
