In the letter, the Falls Church boy offered President Trump to mow the lawn at the White House for free.

Of course it would be for free, Trump never pays his contractors.

'Pickle' from Virginia doesn't have a business license and isn't paying income tax. A staffer invited the kid there so he can be arrested for tax evasion and be made an example of by the IRS Police (remember how many guns they have)

Trump will then work out a plea deal 'heroically over many hours, lotta time involved' to save the government 'yuuugee' amounts of money by making the kid serve his jail term as a White House groundskeeper.

Positive publicity isn't easy for this administration.

Funny that 45's proudest achievements are fan letters from grade-schoolers.

I'm not gonna snark at this, as I think it would be pretty swell to let this kid spend a day with the crew working on grounds maintenance. A lot of these people have pride in a job well done, even if it's something most would consider as "beneath" them, and I think it would be fun for all involved.

Maybe if the kid mows the lawn, little Donnie two scoops won't consider it such a dump.

I'm sorry but this just smacks of a fabricated Picklesque story to improve PR.

Even if he doesn't pay the kid, you know he'll still berate him for doing a subpar job.

Look at the upside - here, at last, is a Trump hire who is actually competent to do his job.
First one since Mattis.

The kid is aspiring to mow lawns. He's never going to have to worry about neat penmanship on a NASA application.

It's a relatively clear propaganda move initiated by Bannon likely.  Don't forget the boy scout speech. I'm not even clear on the message but it vaguely seems to be if you don't support Trump you hate kids or something.

I bet our collective fark minds can come up with a kid named ... oh, let's say "Drew", also known as "Squirrel" who looooooooooooves the President, and paints fences or something (this is where help is needed), and send a letter in to see if we get headlines ....

Can't we take a short break from all the bullshiat and just believe that the president is human and did something cool? Christ. It's an industrial wholesale snark factory around here.

When a homeless person in Italy throws a baby at you to steal your wallet while you catch it, you don't remark on how cute the baby is. This guy has demonstrated on several occasions his willingness to use children as deflections from his failings.

1. I applaud the child for having the guts to reach out like that. Impressive and well done.
2. Pretty sure that the reason this one is making headlines is because absolutely NO ONE bought The Pickle Letter. Like, no one. The Reason?: Because it was fake and staged as hell. THIS ONE -- this one is real.

Thats why this is even noteworthy.

/ Carry on
// Get off my lawn WAIT... NO....
