I worry they are setting her up to be the next Clinton. But, I also know that whoever eventually runs in 2020 will get this exact treatment anyway, so it may as well be someone good like Kamala

They're trying to head off the next Obama.

Good luck with that, you xenophobic redneck racist twatwaffles.

Yup, gotta start shiatting on 'enemies' as soon as possible, give time for the propaganda to sink in.  Not like they can win on ideas or merit.

Assholes.

That look that Jeff Sessions gave her during his testimony pretty much sums up how the GOP feels about her.

They don't like her and they're afraid.

You may be right. These character assassination campaigns these guys run are amazing.

What if the Dems were to have no primaries and just airdrop a candidate in June/July? It would give Fox, Breitbart and Caller less time to work on the narrative.

It works when you give them a 20-year head start. Not sure it'll be quite as effective with only a three year lead time. At least, not beyond the people who would never vote for a Democrat anyway.

They can't govern, but my lord can they smear.  It's why I don't care if the Dems replace Pelosi. They'll just find their next boogieman (boogiewooman?). If a smart, tough woman from California whips them into a rage, a smart, tough black woman from California will send them into the stratosphere.  Look how they ended up hating Dukakis, Gore and Kerry.  Three personifications of a boiled potato sandwich on white bread with mayo, and they were Satan reincarnated by the time the smear machine was done with them.

So, if not her, who? I never seem to hear who is supposed to run, just that some mentioned Dem (all of 'em) shouldn't- not her, not Biden, Franken, not Klobuchar, not anybody with any sort of recognition, so who (to pick on you for a moment) should run?

To label it all as false flag concern trolls is disingenuous. A lot of progressive have some concerns about the person who declined to prosecute Mnuchin, now Trumps Sec of Treasury, over the advice of her prosecutors and has a really mixed record as attorney general. I'm not saying that I'd never vote for her, but I can see echoes of 2016 in this where the DNC promotes a candidate who isn't supported by the progressive wing, leading to a divided party, and if she loses, they'll blame the people that didn't support her.

2017-08-02 09:41:49 AM
Judging by a couple of my friends in the last few days, the left apparently hates her too.

They're also running out of Clinton steam, that's pretty weak tea.  They need to foment new hatred, and a white girl won't cut it any more.  The base has been subsisting on nothing but white girl and half breed for years now, and they need something new in the meal plan to keep the rubes money flowing.

Yup, I've seen her trashed by 'liberals' who concern troll with purity tests, since she was Brown's girlfriend. So only really good instead of perfect, therefore awful is better.

It's a problem of the "Liberals fall in love, Conservatives fall in line" issue.  All it takes is a few false flag trashings of the liberal candidates from "the other liberal's side", and it turns them against each other with vitriol, because you're attacking someone they genuinely like and care about. So much resentment and vitriol gets created, and it carries over.  Yet on the Conservative side, everyone fell in to fellate Trump, even after how nasty he was.  It's a different mindset. It's why I was never went nasty against Bernie or his supporters, even though I preferred Clinton, and always tried to keep the vitriol down when I saw it elsewhere. It comes back to haunt you. If Bernie had won, I'd've gladly and enthusiastically voted for him and supported him.  Trashing each other on the Liberal side just hurts both sides' futures.

I still don't blame Bernie or his supporters for the loss, I blame Trump's and the non voters.  And Russia, of course.  But a massive number of Bernie supporters came out and voted for her, more than expected, and more than in past elections with contested primaries.  And a lot of the most rabid Bernie supporters I has farkied showed up right after the election as Trump supporters, crowing about how they'd been sowing anger in the Dem ranks to help Trump win. And I'm sure some of the more rabid Hillary supporters were, too.

So Dems, let's keep our eye on the prize, play nice with each other, and shout down the more rabid attackers against each other on our own sides, yeah?

No, the GOP has an irrational hatred of the Clinton family that is just farking loony. Not just Hillary or Chelsea, but they farking hate Bill with the blinding heat of 10,000 suns as well. Their hatred of that family is the biggest reason that choosing Hillary was the wrong choice in 2016 (or ever) to run for president. Nobody, and I mean NO ONE, the Democratic party can run for office in the near future will ever inspire the irrational hatred the Clinton family inspires. That family has a singular ability to unite disparate groups of Republicans with but one goal: DEFEAT TEH CLINTRON!!!111!!!!111!!!!1!

When Kamala Harris (or any other Democratic politician) reaches that level of outright hatred you'll know. They haven't been able to make it stick with anyone else yet, maybe you have to be the first family for it to work. They tried to smear Pelosi, Warren, Reid, and so on the same way without success.

Five farking years ago, I said I thought clinton was running as a lightning rod.  A character who would attract all the right wing bullshiat while another candidate was groomed to run.

I was wrong about the intelligence of the dnc then.  I wont make the same mistake this time.  The dnc will respond to NONE of this BS until "KAMALA BAD!!!!" fully seeps into public consciousness and then we will run her with no back up plan.  Then we will be shocked when half the country sits another election out.  Then we will balme the far left.  Then the far left will blame the dnc and we get to do this over in 2024.

Learning is for suckers.  Or something.

The GOP hates Obama just as much. There is not going to be a democratic candidate that they won't do everything in their power to trash and demean. This idea that their hatred is exclusively for the Clintons is naive . They will do the same to any democrat running which is why we shouldn't be basing our choices on who the conservatives hate the most, they hate all democrats.

Alternatively, do whatever makes you feel good about yourself but recognize that you are part of the problem.  Not the people who are acceptance testing your candidate.

Look, I don't know much about Kamala Harris, but I've talked to the boys down at the bar here in Screw the Libs, Ohio, and they're going to be absolutely furious if this dunderhead gets the nomination.  She's completely unqualified and there seems to be credible reports that she is a demon of some kind, concealing her true form so that she may collect the special interest monies.

This is why the majority of the voters cast their vote for Mr. Trump, and why they're going to do it again in 2020.  No woman can tell me what to do.  It says so in the Bible.

A couple weeks ago, it carried a story that Harris paid more than $400,000 to Revolution Messaging, the online media firm that helped Bernie Sanders during his run for president. An earlier headline read "Sen. Harris Drops F-Bomb at Public Event" after she used the word on a popular liberal podcast. Harris' campaign did not respond to any of the publication's requests for comment.

LOOOOOOLOLOLOOOOOLOL

Yeah y'all waived the right to be mad about any of that.

It might have been a mistake for her to float the idea of candidacy this early. Gives these despicable bastards way too much time to cook up salacious stories from thin air. They clearly see her as a threat and want to nip this in the bud ASAP.  Don't be surprised when you hear the forthcoming slander.
