Trump continues to do things that, had Obama even suggested be done, would have caused the entire Republican party to shiat themselves bloody while rage puking all over the internet.  and that would have been the MILD response.

yet trump just goes merrily on his way, trashing damn near everything the republicans claim to hold dear.  its probably the best example I can show people to prove that republicans don't give a f*ck about 'america'.  they ONLY care about their fellow republicans.

I remember when Obama wanted to talk to americas schoolchildren, the GOP went nuts and said it was improper to "indoctrinate" kids. They didn't even know what he was going to say and they were foaming at the mouth. But Trump gives a political speech to a bunch of Boy Scouts and....crickets.

He already has Fox and the Sinclair Network, with their enormous national and local market presence, coordinating with him. Breitbart is loyal to Bannon, which is close enough to state run media, as long as he keeps pushing the white nationalism and the subversion of democratic institutions at home and abroad.

The Boy Scouts typically invite the president to Jamboree.  Bush I, Clinton I, and Bush II all made it to at least one Jamboree during their tenure.  Obama was invited to attend the group's 100th anniversary, but only made a recorded message.

Now, President Dumbass getting ridiculously political* during his Jamboree speech is another matter.

* and by "political" I mean "Aren't I awesome? Wasn't that other guy lousy?" because making the Boy Scouts Jamboree about, you know, the Boy Scouts would have been hard

For the GOP, the real trick is finding a Republican who isn't a complete, pants-shiatting coward. I haven't seen one yet, and yes I have gotten a look at John McCain.

its kind of amazing the "power" Trump has over the people in his family. There doesn't seem to be any lengths they won't go to embarrass and humiliate themselves for the man.

there isn't one person in that family that thinks Don is an ass ? I find that really really hard to believe. Every family has one at least even when the people are normal.

But it was the best speech ever given to the Boy Scouts. They called Trump to say so. Even Jim said it was a great, great speech. Tremendous.

I feel for Trump because there's no way for him to get his message out. If only there was some sort of official government job to relay his message to the media and the person in that job had daily access to that media. Maybe they could even put that person on television to further spread his message. I guess I can dream.
