This Administration is going to treat everything like Donnie treats bills from contractors...

Temporary victory, probably. Two Scoops won't be happy until he has oil derricks in the National Parks and blasting the mountaintops for coal so that we look like some hellscape. Hell, the press briefing today cited "oil, shale, and coal" as things that he is promoting to #MAGA.

Sure looks like it.
I wonder if the courts can make him staff all the agencies, especially the State Department.
Or if citizens or the ACLU can sue to get it done. So much uncharted territory here.

Since methane is produced from bullshiat, there's no way we're going to be able to enforce this regulation until Trump and his cronies are tossed curbside at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

The courts can't make Trump do anything, unfortunately.  This wasn't really a situation the Founders planned for.

Have I told you fine folks just how much you were going to love Scott Pruitt?  I mean, right now big oil is writing his response.....

Yeah,  I was even thinking about separation of powers when I wrote that.

I've been really trying not to hate him (or anyone, really), I'm starting to fail.

Here's hoping that even if the courts won't do anything.m, the GOP will notice Trump makes them look like a bunch of baffoons and kicks his butt out of office, or the next session of congress does it for them.

I'm not holding my breath. This is the compain about everything, but do nothing to make it better GOP.

Eh.. I'm pretty sure the founders planned on possible tyrants. Trump may get minor victories against the US, but ultimately he will be removed from office.

Pruitt has changed the EPA into a Bizarro version of itself. And it only took a few months.

2017-08-01 09:58:50 PM
I can see it now. "We see you've violated rule US90(a)437.1.78 regarding methane. Here's your $10 fine."

2017-08-01 09:59:50 PM
That's the exact opposite of what he was hired to do.

And in response, he announced today that the administration is waiving enforcement of environmental laws when it comes to construction of his 2,000 mile money pit. Sorry, "Border Wall."

But no big deal, it's not like Texas farmers and ranchers use the Rio Grande for anything.

It seems to me that much like that worm Arpaio, ignoring a court order to enforce regulations on the books could lead to charges of criminal contempt, followed by fines and jail time for the heads of these agencies giving the orders.

I mean I want to agree with you, but sometimes melodramatic hyperbole turns good points into derp.
