Trump can't hold it together anymore, and even HE knows how bad he looks to the rest of the world.  I wonder if that's what's really driving his twitter rants these days?  but...to be honest, who knows what trump's thinking anymore.  the guy is starting to become seriously unhinged tho.

Others say Trump is making concrete progress, comparing him favorably to President Barack Obama

For Trump and his supporters this has to be the ultimate insult.

While a lot of his supporters are complete delusional idiots, a fair number of them are just going to vote R no matter what.  It's hard to defend Trump on some issues in the face of obvious reality.

Expect the defense of him to come from fewer people and to be more and more vague.

You think so today? What about when he is actually tested by a real crisis?

oh we're doomed.  nobody's got any illusions about how horribly badly trump would handle an actual honest go goddess crisis.

And yet he's always accusing others of being weak.

He is weak, and he's weakened America.

Mattis, Tillerson, and even Nikki Haley could probably get some things done, but there's Donald.

Jake Havechek: He is weak, and he's weakened America.

yup.  And remember to thank a trumper for it.  this is what they wanted.  never forget that fact.  all of this chaos, and all of the damage trump is doing to us is something the trumpers DEMANDED happen.

trumpers are not our friends.

Careful world, that's exactly the sort of attitude that causes weak presidents to start launching bombs.

2017-08-01 06:47:38 AM
North Korea is launching missiles designed to reach the US; Moscow is forcing a drastic reduction in US diplomatic staff in Russia; Venezuela is wracked by violence as its democracy dies; and Iran has been expanding its reach in Syria and Iraq.

All of these things are Obama's fault, and would be much worse under Hillary.

I see Donald Trump as quite strong.

Like body odor or cancer.

2017-08-01 06:50:45 AM
They see him as weak because he is weak, a weak, pathetic little man.

So we have that in common with the rest of the world.

I'm beginning to believe that he is a plant, installed by the Nobel Comittee, to justify giving Obama the Peace prize.
When he accidentally kicks off WWIII, they can look around the ruins of our once nice world and say, "Hey, at least the last guy didn't nuke Belgium because of a rumor on Alex Jones."

2017-08-01 06:59:29 AM
Of course they do.  This is a man, with a majority backing, and no meaningful resistance, plus every reasonable advantage, is wholly incapable of any measure of success.

2017-08-01 06:59:36 AM
Hell, even my (very few) die-hard Tory friends think he is a weak and awful person.

2017-08-01 07:01:15 AM
Time for another Mandatory Attendance Rally at a soon-to-be-outsourced supporter-owned rural business in a state he'll casually insult while crowing about his "huge, historic electoral college win"

2017-08-01 07:02:01 AM
Australian here. Trump might or might not be weak. I'll leave that for others. But he's a world record holder as far as every leader of a notable country in history for undermining his own administration, communications strategy and himself with his bizarre Tweets and off-the-cuff statements.

Never in modern geopolitics has so much chaos been completely unavoidable because it's driven from the top.

They are failures of the Obama administration but it's unclear how things would be worse under Hillary.

Oh and LOL @ Venezuela having democracy there in the first place.

"Others say Trump is making concrete progress, comparing him favorably to President Barack Obama "

And who would those 'others' CNN talked to, in the interest of giving both the impression of balance, be..

"Things are moving in the right direction," said Nile Gardiner, director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at the Heritage Foundation.

Oh farking lol that shiat is hilarious

Fun fact!

When Trump won, the Mexican peso plummeted. When he was inaugurated, it went deeper. People were afraid Trump would damage the Mexican economy.

Nowadays? The peso is stronger than when people thought Clinton was certain to win. Take that as you will.

2017-08-01 07:10:03 AM
Remember this time last year, when we were being told that because of President Obama, the world was laughing at us and seeing us as weak, and we needed a strong, tough man like Trump to make the world respect us again?

Remember those talking points about how Trump would make America far more respected internationally?

/We never believed the bullshiat, but Trumpers sure did.
//Trumpers believe he's really a billionaire too.
///Hell, they believe all his stupid bullshiat.

From the article, with a few corrections:

Complete morons say Trump is making concrete progress, comparing him favorably to President Barack Obama.  "Things are moving in the right direction," encouraged an obvious liar, director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at the Heritage Foundation. He added that many of the challenges facing the President, including getting China to apply greater pressure to North Korea, are really hard, so we should give him an A for effort.

Whoever beats him in the next election is going to get the Peace Prize as well.

I think, the world is also watching the death of American Exceptionalism as well. I think going forward from Trump, if the US can ever repair its reputation, I think other governments are going to demand a lot more for the US to join deals and coalitions now.

I think the next crisis is right around the corner. A "kick the USA when they're down" moment and see what they do.
Stir the pot, watch democracy flail.
Only a few Jenga pieces left that are doing their jobs.
Last thing we need is DTS showing the world how tough he is.
I've only seriously considered a big out bag since Jan.
The man needs to be removed from office ASAP.

The rest of the world has been around long enough to know that American Exceptionalism was never really a thing to begin with, you were just the latest in a long line of nations and empires to become so enamoured with their own successes that they didn't come to terms with the downslope awaiting them.

If history tells us anything it's that power structures grow and power structures fall. America did great a few generations ago, now it's reinventing itself and it's going to go one of two ways. History.

Wow, that's a relief, I was thinking that the world considered trump to be a pathetic dirty old man that doesn't even remember what he had for breakfast the day before while he is sitting on a toilet at 3 am and babbling stupid and vile text messages to the free world.

Seeing that CA is the 5th largest economy in the world, and the west coast is pretty left, I think the next split in our democracy will be all about the states that can say F you to the feds and do as they please. The rest can battle for the few govt nipples that are available.

Are you kidding? These people seriously think this is the best shape this country has been in the past 8 years.  They put on their safe space Fox News and it's all sunshine, rainbows and Obama hate.  Convince a Trump supporter he's doing a shiat job and I'll buy you a coke with your name on the bottle

It wouldn't be so bad if we had a congress that could legislate effectively and compensate, but we have Turtle and Gym Bro and their gaggle of goofs who have no plans and can't even get themselves going in the same direction to save themselves.

I don't think Trump knows how to do that and I doubt anybody around him is going to bother telling him.  That's the interesting thing about this whole situation:  you can tell just how much respect Trump doesn't have at this point.  His pathetic screeching hasn't intimidated anybody and just destroyed any respect for the office many people would have.
