Saturday night massacre?  In Trumpland?  It's WWF Superweekend Throwdown before Monday Night Football.  We have eclipsed Idiocracy, people

Well, here is the reason in a nutshell:
However, Lewandowski previously worked for Avenue Strategies, which is registered to lobby for Ohio-based payday lender Community Choice Financial

The consumer protection board has returns millions, maybe billions of dollars back to ordinary consumers. Banks are actually being held accountable when they screw their customers over.

It just seems like everyone knows the ship is taking on water and instead of rearranging the deck chairs, this group is grabbing them, throwing them overboard with a few thousand American lives strapped to it as a lifeboat.  They're making Billy Zane look sympathetic

When you can't get it done with your first choice, and you've shown everyone else who might work for you that you're an antagonistic crazy person who will not listen to advice, who do you go to next?

In fairness, in Donnie's experience, firing people makes for ratings boosts, so why not go for it?

I mean, it's not like anyone NEEDS a working government, right? Then again, given the sheer competence shown thus far, maybe he might accidentally find someone what could do the job, so I suppose we should just let nature take its course with this...

An outside adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump called on Sunday for the firing of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau director Richard Cordray.

So why not drive the point home and Fire himself for incompetence?  Oh right, because that would be paradoxical.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump's former campaign manager who still speaks regularly to the president, criticized a CFPB rule that would make it easier for consumers to sue financial companies.

Way to stick up for the little guy Trumpy.

Please think about the plight of the predatory lenders.

Lewandowski, Omarosa, Scaramucci, and Gorka all in one shot! Breathtakingly scummy.
WTF is Lewandowski still doing around? The same guy who brags he has Trumps twitter account and literally has tried to sell access and peddle influence.
Republicans fought the creation of the CFPB and have long complained the agency wields too much power without enough accountability to the president or Congress. They have accused it over imposing overly burdensome regulations that they say may unduly harm consumers.
Oh that's cute.

I doubt it.

Farkers throughout 2016 repeatedly assured me that the dems and the gop were identical on wanting banks to screw me over.

How dare you.

Loan sharks offer actual sustainable rates and try to keep their victims solvent, and have a viable business strategy.  Comparing them to payday loan operations is just beyond the pale, man.  You take that back.

We did some legal work for a payday lender.

Before they hired us, we gave them a client list to impress them - Fortune 500 companies, gov't agencies, universities, etc.

After they hired us, the CFO of the payday lender said, "You know that list of references? Don't put us on there. People wouldn't like it."

He was a good guy to work with. No jargon, no pretension, no euphemisms. He was in a shiatty business but he didn't try to present it as a "service to an under-served community" or any bullshiat like that.

Were I elected President in 2020, one minute after I finished my inauguration speech I'd have my first executive order

To: All Trump appointees
From: President Hero

You're fired.  You have 1 hour to clean out your desks, turn in your badge and get out.  Your computer has already been locked and the contents turned over to the FBI for investigation. I understand as federal employees you may need to be fired for cause.  Cause: Since Trump thought you were a good choice for the position, you're clearly utterly incompetent and probably corrupt.

Don't worry- you'll be back when we subpoena you for the criminal trials.  Anyone wishing to contact the FBI to cut a deal is encouraged to do so soonish as the line is going to be very, very long.

Have a nice day.

Mobsters don't roll around in Fords, those are wannabe mobsters...basically some Jersey Shore reject wannabe tough guys. Scaradouchey is basically Snooki and he'd shut up quick if someone punched him in the nose....like she did when she got KTFO. (same with trumpee)

Send Washington home, reinstate everything Obama did (all his EOs), put the fed on cruise control from the previous admin, roll over the previous budget, and we'll reconvene in 2018 to start throwing people out. The White House can stay empty until 2020.
