Lemons have to taste better than the shriveled members of right wing billionaires Walker usually has in his mouth.

I wonder if they will lock the workers up and never let them leave like they do in China ?

You know what? I hope those jobs do go to Wisconsin. History suggests otherwise but I hope so. And I hope the Governor doesn't over spend on an empty promise.

A wide array of Wisconsin environmental regulations would be waived under a proposal put forward by
A bill Walker released on Friday would allow Foxconn, without permits, to discharge dredged materials, fill wetlands, change the course of streams, build artificial bodies of water that connect with natural waterways and build on a riverbed or lakebed.
Foxconn would also be exempt from having to create a state environmental impact statement, something required for much smaller projects.

Yah...that's really not good.  Like, way to turn that area into a no-habit zone within a decade just like they do in the homeland.  Wow.

This is insane. Giving tax breaks to mega corps that do nothing but exploit workers and have dubious practices with dorm like housing and basically having a slave labor work force of indentured workers who have few other opportunities and housed in buildings with suicide nets around their apt building. Why we put up with this I don't know.

Foxconn deal to build massive factory in Wisconsin could cost the state $230,700 per worker

Foxconn also pledged to build another factory in Pennsylvania in 2013 - it still hasn't even broken ground yet.

Foxconn is going to take the money and never build anything viable.

Scott's still mad he couldn't get his degree.

I won't ever denigrate anyone for not going to college - it isn't for everyone, isn't an accurate measuring stick for ability, and isn't equally accessible to those who want to attend - but people who hate it because they couldn't hack it should be called out as the morons they are.

Also, FAS.

*shakes tiny fist*

I absolutely agree.  I couldn't hack college as far as I needed to.  Life got in the way.  Do i begrudge someone who did?  Absolutely not.  I find it admirable.  However I find it presumptuous and demeaning when a learned person automatically asks where you went to school.  F*ck you.  So, eh, I Can See Both Sides Now

I don't really mind that wealthy people pull this shiat.

I don't even really mind that they get away with it.

I really mind that we know they are doing it up front, and over half the voters support them.

Like, could we at least be progressive enough to make them hide this shiat as it happens and then bribe for forgiveness?

With the Foxconn deal, Wisconsinites have to turn their Middle America incomes into $250k per job.

Then, they take the money and run.

Actually I have a cousin who has an IQ about 70.  She is vastly different than Scott Walker, she has had a  useful job at which she is accomplished for decades and she is tremendously nice and kind individual who would never revel in the suffering of those who need societies assistance.  In other words she is vastly superior to him in all ways, and thus you really should apologize.

Scott Walker isn't evil because he lacks IQ, he is because he lacks a soul.

Scott Walker is the very epitome of the entitled career politician: give me a free house taxpayers! Give me a generous salary and benefits! Wait, there's more: don't you dare question me or demand results! How dare you peasant!

His last days in office can't come soon enough: the day he leaves Madison and heads down I-94 back to the Milwaukee suburbs will be a happy day indeed.

On an unrelated note, we need to sell the Governor's Mansion. But where will I live, Walker will no doubt wail. Go to Trulia and type '53703' in the search parameters dickweed

No, you're supposed to build up, not out if you want to reduce urban sprawl...

Of course, the higher the building, the more bodies sprawled out across the ground, so I guess it's really sixes...
