I believe Sessions is a POS Human but give him credit for his wide stance on this. Granted Sessions is staying to implement some jackassary in the DOJ.

At first I was impressed when Trump made me pine for Bush II. Then I was dumbfounded when he made me feel good for Comey and bad for Spicer. Now getting twinges for Sessions, and I am starting to worry about the structural integrity of protons and neutrons these days

Politics today is the same as anal sex. The pain at first feels unbearable then numbness kicks in and if done enough a person will believe it is just the thing for them and forget the pain and only remember the unique pleasure.

It's convenient that I gave up on giving a fark about the NFL, because this is almost as stupid as watching the Raiders play the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. I don't care who wins because they both suck, but their fans are even worse.

One of my aunts is super seriously Catholic.  She's still a little upset that Mass isn't done in Latin anymore.  When I was 9 or so I scratched my balls (through my pants) in front of her, and she told me that God would be very upset if I continued to touch myself there.

Maybe she was right, and this is all my fault.  Because she's a sweet lady, but yeah...  No.  I don't care how mad God gets.

I'm sorry.

Trump should have been smart enough to see how all of this would play out. Instead he put on his rose colored glasses and hoped for the best. Now that the wheels are coming off he wants everyone to be sympathetic about him getting his poor little feefees hurt. Tough. Shiat. Two-Scoops.

I mostly agree, but in a Sessions vs. Trump fight, I gotta go with Sessions at this point in time.  If a Trump wins, do you think there is even a 1% chance he will pick someone BETTER than Sessions?

Enemy of my enemy is my friend quote again, for posterity or something.

There's also no chance Sessions can implement any of his really bad ideas with this distraction going on.  He is effectively neutered.

Sessions stance on the drug war, legal mj, private prisons and civil furtature makes him pretty hard to be worse than...but I'm sure trump will figure it out

Lord of the Highway: Trump knows he can't fire this guy.  America won't stand for having to pipe fudge stripes on their own cookies.

I think he's worried about something else. He hired Sessions because he figured Sessions' own involvement with the Russian ambassador would make him an easy mark to get the investigation squashed. However, now that Sessions recused himself, Trump wants him gone. But if he fires Sessions, who wouldn't have to worry about pleasing "the base" anymore, he runs the risk of Sessions burning him by blabbing everything he knows about the Russia connections out of spite. Jeff Sessions has been a D.C. Insider for more than 30 years, and from what I understand, a very hateful and vindictive little man.
Basically, Trump's plan has backfired.

Let's not all go sucking Jeff Sessions' dick just yet.  He's not a standup kind of guy.  Trump can't fire him - obvious obstruction of justice.  And Sessions' can't just quit all amicably because then it would look just like what it is: Trump asked for the resignation so he can replace him with a puppet - again, obstruction of justice, but not as obvious.  So Jeffy Keebler has to stick around for a few weeks while Trump castigates him and treats him like shiat publically.  Then, after a suitable abuse period, Granny Clampett will declare that he's had enough and he knows when he's not wanted.  That's when he'll resign.  By that time we'll be into the congressional recess and Trump will get to make a recess appointment who will fire Mueller without all that pesky Senate confirmation nonsense.  Trump talking shiat and Sessions staying at DOJ, that's all just for show.

I think Sessions has it figured out - he's done being Trump's lackey.

If Trump fires him it's straight up obstruction of justice.  And Trump now has competent lawyers who have told him as much, so even Trump is finally laying off.

Trump can fire him, but is trying to get him to quit with all his PR stunts.  Sessions no longer has any faith or loyalty to Trump, and realizes the best way to fark him over is to stay on and bide time for the investigation.

Plus, if he quits (not during a recess) the entire Senate might just take their sweet time to name a replacement.  Ergo, Sessions is waiting until after Congress's vacation is over.

Trouble with that deal is, it won't benefit Sessions. At the end of the day, he's unemployed. He gave up a comfortable Senate seat for this, and he doesn't have the presence for TV punditry.

Do you think a guy like Jeff Sessions would play act your charade to protect Two Scoops and walk away empty handed?

I am suffering extreme confusion. I have been assured by Trump's supporters that President Trump's apparent antipathy toward Attorney General Sessions automatically requires that all liberals immediately support and love Sessions.

Sessions is awful, and a poor choice as Attorney General. That said, recusal from the Russia investigation was the right thing to do, and Trump's displeasure over this is ridiculous. To me, it seems that Trump merely wants someone in the position who is willing to help squelch any investigation into Trump and his administration/family.

Sessions' job is to be the top law enforcer and lawyer for the United States of America, not for Donald J. Trump.

And because Sessions is Sessions he couldn't even garner the ethical fortitude to stay recused.  He "unrecused" himself for the Comey firing.  These two deserve each other.
