Fark you, Michele Bachmann.

You stood in front of a poster of Dachau corpses and compared Obamacare to a concentration camp. You reluctantly tossed out a non-apology only after other politicians looked at you in horror.

You have nothing to say to any sane, compassionate human being. Ever.

So shut the fark up.

Done in one.

2017-07-21 01:15:50 AM
Weird, I'm not afraid of being called a racist.

2017-07-21 01:22:50 AM
Why yes. Michele...embrace the racism. Be not afraid.

2017-07-21 01:50:42 AM
"These are two of the most normal, regular, everyday, average people - and one of them is a multimillionaire," Bachmann told the crowd of about 100. "(Trump) has 1950s sensibilities, which is a great decade."

How indeed was it great, Michele? Was it the 91% top marginal tax rate under Eisenhower that made it great? Somehow I doubt that's it.

Should that phrase have been 'a great decade if you were straight, white, male and Protestant'? I think so. It wasn't quite so nice for everyone else.

50-60 years from now, students are going to study the republican party and wonder how this country could be so stupid as to put something like that woman into public office....and swear to themselves they will NEVER repeat the mistakes of their ancestors!

"That's what I see in Minnesota - too many people who are afraid of being called 'racist,' 'bigots,' 'Islamophobe,'" Bachman said. "I'm not afraid of it."

I'm torn here, on the one hand I want Franken to tear her a new one. On the other I'd like her to remain completely irrelevant.

Too bad we're not allowed to use the Seaward on Fark any longer.

Because that word is just about as descriptive as it gets for Bachmann. Except for asshole. Asshole is a good word. Dirty, possibly surrounded by stray hairs... Yeah. Michele Bachmann really is an asshole.

2017-07-21 03:40:42 AM
Thanks a lot Sean Spicer... By hiding in the bushes, you pushed Bachmann out!

2017-07-21 04:11:53 AM
As I understand there is no race but the human race, and everything else is mere superficial differences, I interpreted this as Michele Beardmann admitting that she hates humanity.

I already knew that.

/sorry, I meant Bachmann. Freudian slip

So when a white cop shoots someone is it his white rage?

2017-07-21 04:14:25 AM
What a cunning stunt.

Sorry Michele, we've already got one Ann Coulter, we don't need another.

Ocean_Pimp: So when a white cop shoots someone is it his white rage?

white cops can shoot pretty much anyone they want, any time they want and for any (or no) reason.  about the only people they CAN'T kill are rich white men.  almost anything/everyone else is fair game.

black or brown cops can shoot black or brown people.
white cops can shoot anyone save the rich white guys.

got it?

When did the right become such poisonous, bottom dwelling monsters?

2017-07-21 04:42:27 AM
Fark off. I work extensively with the immigrant communities in the Twin Cities and I socialize within the Muslim community. Yes, there are many refugees and asylees, especially Somali and Hmong. They are hard working people who just want what everyone else does: a nice home, to be safe, good education for their children, etc. Many are entrepreneurs with small businesses (there's even a Somali mall where people can rent space to sell things). No mosque is advocating for Sharia law or hate for America.

These things shouldn't even need to be said.

There are already enough racists saying and doing awful things here without this idiot spouting off more stupidity. Being racist is not something to aspire to and be proud of. Immigrants help make Minneapolis and America great.

the day Obama took the oath of office for his first term, the right wing lost their minds.  the day Obama took the oath of office for his second term was when republican insanity became permanent, and infectious.

You don't seem to understand the trajectory. In fifty years she will be an intellectual giant compared to the people the GOP puts into office.

It's kinda like the Brazil nut effect, less crazy people percolate away from visibility and the absolute batshiat insane ones become more and more visible.

The problem is that while the spectrum for sanity tends to have an upper limit, crazy doesn't and those who would have been shunned as absolute pariahs two decades ago are considered mainstream.

To get a lawsuit for slander, most likely.

Being a racist isn't very high on my list of fears. However, the thought of having some kind of severely traumatic brain injury or dementia that causes me to become as incoherent and addled as Bachmann leaves me terrified.

WTF?

"These are two of the most normal, regular, everyday, average homes - and one of them costs $11.6 million."
"These are two of the most normal, regular, everyday, average weapons - and one of them can flatten whole cities."
"These are two of the most normal, regular, everyday, average movies - and one of them is 720 hours long."

Comparisons in her world are kinda nifty.

/this post and The Merchant of Venice? Two of the most normal, regular, everyday, average collections of words.

"too many people who are afraid of being called 'racist,' 'bigots,' 'Islamophobe,"
"That's why I'm wondering if they'll ask whether his cultural views led him to shoot her. "

Where did she mention 'lawmakers" or 'political correctness'?

She said Minnesota had gained a "reputation for terrorism," bringing up a 2016 stabbing attack in St. Cloud mall, and called on elected officials to stop worrying about "political correctness."

Yeah I'm so dumb that I could read the paragraph above the quote to!

"That's why I'm wondering if they'll ask whether his cultural views led him to shoot her. That's something, if true, I can't imagine the progressives would allow to get out."
Thats a questions asking if that was his motivation not a definitive statement saying it was as a the headline claims.

notto:

Conservatives have gone so far off the rails of sanity that using direct quotes is considered a malicious and intentionally misleading attack on the person being quoted.
