Barry McCockner: Play sFreebird!

There is another well-known song to take up a chunk of time, but the suggestion would go over like a lead zeppelin.

I suppose this is a strange one, written for and recorded by Elvis, but a much better hit for Terry Stafford who sounded like Elvis

I love the format, although I am conflicted on how different curating playlists like this is when you can simply sort by column as opposed to knowing your stacks by heart.

When doing "Letter" shows, I'm just taking what's in my iTunes library, enough to do a 2 hour show, trying to make sure it's something I haven't played recently and only one song per artist.  Then for the most part it gets sorted chronologically.

Exactly how I would do it certainly. Before digital though, you had those madmen with 50k physical singles from bands and labels no one remembered, all in pretty anonymous identical white sleeves. I love having all that stuff at my fingertips, don't get me wrong, it's just nostalgia. .

This Tom Jones song always reminds me of my aunt dancing around when it came on when I was a kid.  It was always funny.

The other half is wondering where her Moody Blues song is.  She's still got a few songs to wait for it.

Hoping there are podcasts of these available.  Got some work to do starting ASAP (prolly 2-3 weeks), plan on buying a BT stereo system and streaming from my phone to it, and this sounds interesting.  Gotta have music while you work.

Talk to the guy at Coverville.com, Brian Ibbott.  He's got it figured out.
