We can't act surprised that lying is his nature...

It's just a grifter with the brain of a small reptile deploying 'strategy'

1. Denounce the librul media and their slimy 'fact' checking
2. Say something you know the fact checkers will discredit.
3. Feel secure in the knowledge that your base is convinced that you're telling the truth and the lie-berals are out to get you.

F*ck this shiat. I can't do it anymore today, and I've only been up for like 3 hours. I'm going to go get some greasy fast food and cry while I eat it.

Don't like being called a liar? Try telling the truth once in a while.

I can't decide if he doesn't realize he makes sheit up (lies) constantly, or if he knows he does it but can't help it due to some strange mental affliction. Those are the only two options that I can see, and neither one is good...

2017-07-17 08:39:27 PM
Look, the only time he's not lying is when he says how great he thinks he is.

He is a serial liar. There is no surprise here. The media should print nothing he says until they verify the claim and call him out when it is a lie. Which will be 99.9% percent of the time. If Trump said the sun rises in the East I would set my alarm for 5:30 so I could verify it for myself.

I'm currently looking for a job in the mining industry, so I'm getting a kick out of his lies.

Wondering about those numbers; still seem a bit high.  Does that include seasonable jobs / short term contracts?  A lot of logging and coal only hire hourly workers on as temps/tramp miners.

Gyrfalcon: Don't like being called a liar? Try telling the truth once in a while.

You don't get it. He actually loves being called a liar. The fact that liberals, the media, and policy experts all hate him is a point in his favor according to the bitter, mediocre dregs that support him.

2017-07-17 08:43:12 PM
OK, I'm a true liberal.  As much as I detest him, the old man is clearly losing it.  He needs medication, and professional attention and care. That shiat was beyond unhinged.

2017-07-17 08:43:59 PM
I know I keep posting this, but IMO it's something to always keep in mind with what's going on these days... this shiat has played out before.

Didn't the guy who wrote his book say that? He said that he would lie just for the hell of it to see if he could get away with it.

No, but if you're talking the coal industry - an industry that only employs ~50k people - that 1-5k is a big deal.

Sure, if it WERE the coal industry.  It's all mining, forestry and oil/gas industries.

Have you ever noticed that the POTUS never mentions Breitbart or Infowars in public anymore even though they were his biggest supporters? He only ever talks about the FAILING msm; JewYorkTimes and Washingswamp Post, almost like he's scared of them, almost like despite what he says he knows they're legitimate and will play a large part in his demise, because they're real journalists and he's a real, treasonous con man.

And also, what's the deal with airplane food?

Yeah but when you count in the peripheral jobs created the numbers match up, ie: 4k new jobs in the US laundromat business to clean all those coal covered work clothes.

Everyone knows that politicians have always lied. It's one of life's certainties, such as the sun rising in the east. But this guy...this guy and his cronies lack even the courtesy to try to hide it. Is it supreme confidence in their gullible bedrock of support and their eagerness to decry everything as "fake?" Is it simply a case of supreme arrogance? Taco shells girl?

Most people lie because they think they might get away with hiding a truth. Trump will tell you the sun is shining while giving a speech in the rain because he just doesn't care. In his post-fact world, nothing is true or false. The man's lies and his insistence (and persuasion) that all contrary evidence is fake is easily the most alarming trend I've seen in my 40 years. Since even raw math is a liar, politics will never be the same.

What gene do you suppose is missing, what moment from childhood, what never-taught lesson, what whatever doesn't exist in this man that makes such naked lying so effortless?  It really is breathtaking, in a way -- it would be like meeting some future mutant that developed gills to go with its lungs so it could breath in and out of water.  I think he should be studied.  Pickled and studied.  Pickled, studied, and poked with a stick.

Well when you spend literally all your time in the politics tab.

Other publications could step up their game, but DC is just like so far away, man.

I know I know, you're trying to imply Fark is being unfair to your personal political sensitivities. But that's really your own fault for deciding to defend this shiatshow of an administration.

He also mentioned Caterpillar is an American company. They are not. They are international. They are technically but all of the products are not made here.

Trump just doesn't lie, he keeps repeating his lies.  This is a common tactic of propagandists since the days of Goebbels.
