I'm not clever enough to come up with puns.  I just named my boat after a weekend of binge-watching BBC America.

I've owned a few Boston Whalers (they are unsinkable) and I had the letters all arranged to name my third one Unsinkable III...then I sold it.

As a rule of thumb, you shouldn't name your boat anything you don't want to broadcast in the clear on VHF Ch. 16...

The_Sponge: If I ever get a boat, I'm going to name it Frank Sobotka's Revenge.

Heck, the local septic tank pumping company around here is called Royal Flush.  "Beats a full house" is the motto.

You may want to rethink that, lest someone think you are trying to join the nazis.

My dad had a sailboat we called "Over-easy"

It came by the name rightly.

In all seriousness I'd probably name a boat the Karaboudjan

My first sloop was Achilles...so the dinghy was, of course, Hector...

Sad.

My dad had a boat back in the '80s and the boat next to it in the marina was named that.

I would never go out on a boat named "The Art Of The Deal," out of fear of ending up underwater.

A neighbor growing up named his boat "Rich Uncle", since that was who'd paid for it (when said uncle died, and left a sizeable inheritance, of the type required to maintain a money-pit like a boat).

I had a little canal runabout in Fort Lauderdale named "PBR Streetgang". There was a Minister with  "Almighty".

Endeavour was the name of Captain Cook's boat.  I'll venture a guess that it has nothing to do with how hard the owner worked to afford it.

Boats in Tobago had interesting names.  This was one of the... uh... most interesting.
