Excellent use of the Obvious tag.

30 years of Republicans smearing Clinton, a dash of Russian interference, the Electoral College and a whole heaping helping of STIGGINIT! That's the recipe for Trump.

Frankly a lot of Americans didn't want a woman in the White House, especially someone named Hillary Clinton. The GOP simply gave us plausible deniability by pushing the email thing.

/too bad we didn't read everything before signing or else we'd have realized that Trump's worse.

Never insult the intelligence of a person by calling them a name they cannot spell. No. No, man. shiat, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man.

They weren't offended by a black guy occupying the white house. It is far worse than that. They want to punish the country for electing the black man twice, along with the rest of the world that welcomed and respected him. While certainly a long way from "everyone" the US is one of the most racist countries on the planet, judging by the extent it is going in self punishment.

I'll say what I said when a friend posted this on his Facebook page:

We're a nation run by misogynist racist assholes, 65 million voters support them, and another 60 million or so want a candidate with the moral purity that would make Jesus Christ unelectable; so here we are.

Remember always that the problem is not and never will be the voters who would vote for a potato if there was an (R) after it; the problem is the voters who are comfortable saying: "the Democrat candidate didn't inspire me/had issues/was just the same, and anyway I live in a blue state/red state/don't live in a swing state, and I felt we should send a strong message to Washington this year, so I didn't vote."

Anyone still justifying their vote today is what is wrong with us.

I would argue that most of America's refusal for the last 160 years to truly grapple with the depth of it's problems are the reason we keep having Hardings (thinking the whole sell out to business is a good way to run a government), Nixons (clandestine negotiations despite not being President, what ever could you mean), Reagans (combination of Nixon and thinking that right-wing Christianity is the moral center of America), W. Bushs (you know, using an army to pacify the Levant and West Asia would work really well), and Trumps (we can turn America into an impenetrable fortress of freedom, whatever that means) getting elected.

America steadfastly refuses to ever own up to the problems it has, instead choosing to sweep them under the rug and try and stagger forward until we have our periodic spasms of protest and violence to force an accounting.

People need to come to account of just why they do what they do, and think what they do, instead of just getting a pat on the head and letting them wallow while the 'adults' try to work around them.

These are terrible people and they're proud of it - petty, self-absorbed, dull-witted, small minded "average" people (you know, morons) . They're the reason The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family are still on the air. They're the people that any sane society would send away on the "B" Ark and we let them decide an election.

Oh so another day of describing what Obama was and pretending it's what Trump is.

It's almost funny now to look back at liberals trying to mock "Republican Butthurt". They had more of that done before Trump was sworn into office than Republicans could wrack up in 8 years.

You know, it just hit me; traitor and un-American were insults thrown around by Republicans just over a decade ago for criticizing the president. Now we're calling them traitors and un-American just because they guy they inexplicably embrace is seemingly highly invested in a hostile country's interests.

Man, how the times have changed.

On the bright side, just think how wonderful the world will feel once we eventually get a mature and same person in the White House.

What kind of bait is this?  Pffft.

Trump people aren't idiots.  Most of them, anyway.  They are victim of a vicious gaslighting campaign that has them seeing their own countrymen as mortal enemies.  Every good thing any liberal has done for them is twisted and misconstrued into some diabolical plot, or attack.  They simply cannot believe liberals are capable of any form of altruism.  No, trump people are not enemies.  They are victims.  They are fellow countrymen under attack from people they trust.  We should remember this first and foremost.

And I don't think Trump is dumb.  He's profoundly ignorant, that's something completely different.  He has no concept of life outside of his very gilded little cage.  Normal life and affairs are utterly incomprehensible to him.

And with all of this in mind, remember.  There's nothing you can do to Trump or his people that's any worse than what they're doing to themselves already and in abundance.  The implosion is under way.  I figure all we need do is stand aside and let them do as they please.  This administration is what medical folks would call a self limiting condition.
