That's hard to do on mobile. Can't type that fast. Still did better than 92% of people though.

All of them.  The still-mobile ones are zombies.  Sorry for the spoiler.

Sliding Carp: All of them.  The still-mobile ones are zombies.  Sorry for the spoiler.

You can still name all of them?

But really, there's no evidence that the White Walkers can raise just anyone. Seems to be proximity related, or at least currently limited by the Wall, but I'd still wager proximity. Now, Qyburn seems to have some gifts as well, but that's potentially a different story.

No, no, I just meant that all the characters are dead.

I can't remember the name of the guy whose head got chopped off first.  Maybe the show never mentioned it.

Got 41 out of 171. Several I didn't get because I couldn't figure out how to spell them on the fly. A few because I tried to give them the wrong surname(Walda Frey instead of Walda Bolton...). Also getting the show, which I haven't seen past season 2, confused with the books. Lots of my answers were people who haven't died in the latter yet.

Jon Snow and Berric Dondarrion are kinda cheating as answers, if you ask me.

Everyone not already raised that is North of the Wall burns their dead. There's your proximity.

There's an episode where benjen Stark is explaining to bran and Meera Reed about the enchantments built into the base of the wall that prevent the magic walkers use from Crossing.  It's why he said he himself can't cross the Wall since he's part Walker now.

It's in the books too. The wall was supposedly built and enchanted by Bran(don) the builder, a.k.a. the founder of House Stark and the Children of the forest who provided Bran with magical assistance.

Is the Dancing Master really dead? We assume he is, but never witnessed the coup de grace. I think it would be awesome to reunite the DM and Arya in S7.

Just for reference, who is your favorite character that's still alive? Just for no reason. I'm definitely not going to tweet that information to George RR Martin in the hopes that he spares MY favorite character.

Zero.

I don't have HBO so I can't watch this. I would like to but I'm not upgrading for one show.

I don't think blacksmith kid, bastard died.
Or Sam,
Or Mercenary who gives wishes...aka dude who taught Aria the ways of the nameless
Or Little Kick arse, aka Aria
Or Joffrey's mom,
Or Tyrion,
And almost everyone else after them are still alive

Do you even watch the show?

DVD rental or purchase
Blu-ray Disc rental or purchase
BitTorrent
HBO Now ($14 for a month. Binge watch the whole show so far in a month or less.)

Hell, you can probably get the discs at the local library for free.

If you haven't seen it, it's because you don't want to or because you lack the effort.

Obviously they are all dead since this show takes place in Medieval times.

Waymar Royce. The old bear mentions his name in season 1 when ta;ling to Tryion, and Sansa mentions him again in season 5 when speaking to his father Bronze Yohn Royce in The Veil.

Great memory or recent rewatches?

(I did "rewatch" season 1 about 2 weeks ago but, i wasnt sober for it....)

Several of those characters aren't even named in the show, only in the books. Also, Lyanna didn't die twice, so she shouldn't be listed twice. And of course, a character who died before the show started shouldn't be listed at all, which applies to Arthur Dayne and Gerold Hightower also. And of course, Beric Dondarrion and Jon Snow may have died, but they aren't dead.

What Qyburn does is a stupid Frankenstein allusion because GRRM wanted to do farking everything in the series and couldn't restrain himself.

Who needs proper names?

I only know Midget Cheeky Farker, The Brother-Sister Farkers (Sersy Shame and One-Hand), Dragon-Lady Boobs and her Dragons, Turning To Stone Guy who had the hots for Dragon-Lady Boobs, Pod The Penis, Samwise Fatboy, Lily Allen's No Penis Bro, That Little Girl-Boy with the little stick sword, Little Girl-Boy's Sister who got Honeymoon raped, Hodor (dead), Won Won (dead), King Sean Bean (dead, of course), Annoying Malfoy kid (dead), The Mountain (dead, kinda), John Snow (dead, not dead).

The Wall is a ward against their powers, they can't act beyond it, which is why Coldhands, in the books, can't go through and has to pass a message along to Bran through Sam. The wights that attack Mormont were being kept in cells under the wall itself, so were presumably still within range of the Other's powers. When the wall comes down at some point in TWoW/Season 7, that restriction probably goes away.

As for Qyburn, there are clearly other ways to bring the dead back in this world, Berric Dondarrion for one obvious example. Which isn't to say Qyburn did the same thing, just illustrates there are other means, especially since magic is leaking back into the world.

Huh? Is that how it went in the show? In the book it was the kid in the trio from the prolouge. Royce is the arrogant noble guy who insists they check the wildling camp who ends up going down fighting against the Others. The kid also dies but the old grizzled guy gets away and that's who Ned executes.

I mean, I guess for the purposes of the quiz he's still dead.

/just started re-reading the series

Can you put the list to the tune of the elements song to jazz it up a little?

I just had a wierd juxtaposition of thought that confused me.  Watching an docu on ancient Egypt hearing the words "Rameses' Kingdom" just turned into "Ramsay's kingdom" in my mind while reading a GoT thread.  I think if GRRM really wanylted to piss off his fans he'd have had Bolton on the throne at the end.
