Columbia falls... gateway to Hungry Horse.

I've actually eaten in that subway.

And I know a guy that also had eaten in that subway, who was then subsequently eaten by bears in the Bob Marshall wilderness.

Subway ain't bad, it's just that every time I eat there I end up thinking "Why the hell didn't I just make this myself?".  I mean at least when I go to the other fast food places I think "well at least I didn't have to clean a deep fryer" but with Subway it's just deli meat, bread and a toaster oven.

I had a friend that worked at Subway when ever mayo or light mayo was since the bag was big enough for 2 bottles both were filled. No one ever complained

Very easy to launder the money; no dye-packs; useful as bullet-resistant vest.  Drawback as a routine - need a forklift or Bobcat as a getaway vehicle.

I recall a time asking for directions in some Podunk town and they said "take a left past the Subway."  And I was like "you have a subway?  I live in Sacramento and all we have is light rail."  Apparently there is a sandwich shop called Subway.  You learn something new every day.

I feel the same way about Arby's ( I'd add that whenever I go there, using a 3 for $5.49 coupon, I still ask myself if it was worth the time & trouble ....)

/ haven't eaten at Subway for over a year
// ate at Arby's a few weeks ago....probably won't go there again until they bring the turkey gyro back.

I'm so sorry, you apparently live in a part of the country where Lion's Choice doesn't exist.  I presume there are at least therapists to deal with that situation?

*googles "Lion's Choice"

Yeah, I live in the PNW, so it's Subway or Arby's near me...     :-(

/ 10 miles away, there's a family owned Vietnamese Pho/Baguette place that puts all fast food to shame....too bad it's out of my way...

The last time I went to a Subway the guy working was alone (I assumed the other person was in the restroom or something) and apparently had a pretty bad head cold. I watched him make 2 sandwiches for the people ahead of me while seeing the trail of snot work its way down his lip while he was noisily trying to suck it back up, and said out loud 'Dude, that's farking gross' and turned around and walked out. I'm not knocking the poor guy, he was most likely forced to work while ill, but you have to see it from the other side.

How the 3 people standing in front of me watched him make their food without batting an eye, I'll never know.

Both the regular and light mayo bottles were filled with the same kind of mayo because the bags the mayo came in were large enough to fill two bottles, and the friend couldn't be bothered to open the other mayo bag.

In her defense, this is hard to do with cheese.
