Putin hired trump first and installed him as President later. Trump got about 3 million less votes even with putin causing at a minimum hundred of thousands votes to be  cast for trump fraudulently or deny voters the vote in certain districts.

Wow. He simply does not care.

Wow.  Just when I thought Turmp couldn't be any dumber...

Firing Flynn was the first smart thing Trump did and he should have done it much sooner.  But I guess he doesn't care if Russian agents work in his administration.  I wonder why.

Dear god. I read that as "Comey" at first, I guess because my mind just couldn't conceive of Trump saying he regrets firing Flynn.

Related CSB: there's a Chinese restaurant near the Pentagon that's popular with the brass. Like many DC restaurants, they have photos of various VIP's all over the walls. I snapped this pic of one of them just a couple of weeks ago.

Flynn is a Russian agent. This is insane.

2017-06-23 10:06:34 AM
So does that mean Trump doesn't regret treason?

i think there's a simpler explanation: Trump sees the firing as the catalyst to this whole fiasco. If he kept Flynn on, then there would be no investigation, if there was no investigation, he'd get more shiat done, if he got more shiat done, more people would love him. Don't have an investigation; switch to DirectTV...

but that's probably his line of thinking, despite the reality that Flynn had been investigated back during the campaign, Trump probably thinks the investigation only started with the firing. Maybe that's why he hasn't fired any of the other inner circle senior advisers yet? He fears that the next firing will spark a new investigation? First Flynn, then Comey, maybe Sessions soon.

while the rest of us paying attention know that these investigations started long before the subsequent firings, he likely does not have that ability to look beyond the immediate events in front of him. He's a living embodiment of the "Post hoc ergo propter hoc" fallacy

Senile Trump. He's supposed at least act like he isn't colluding with Russia. He regrets firing him, because it broke up Team Russia.
He was warned by the Obama administration not to hire him. He was fired by the Obama administration.
Trump uses the fact that he was hired by Obama as some sort of justification for having Flynn on his team, conveniently ignoring the fact that Flynn was fired by Obama.

Putin already owned trump before the election ( Putin loaned trump over a billion with a side of money laundering) and Flynn being a foreign agent that lied to keep his security clearance to be the national security advisor to benefit Putin and harm the US is just part of normal trump business. Either the utter failure of the trump team to do any sort of vetting or knowingly placing Russian comprised people or agents in position of power appears to be an act of treason.

Russia is a minor economic country that has elevated themselves into the world stage through compromising individuals and attacking infrastructure with relatively no consequences.

So Trump is sad he fired the felon but relieved he fired the head of the FBI.

And 63 million Americans agree with Donnie Trumpler.

That apparently is Paul Becker on our right.

Becker has been the Director for Intelligence (J2) on the Joint Chiefs of Staff since September 2013.

Trump doesn't understand that none of this was about him until he MADE it about him - that's the most amazing part of this.  His personality demands that he be the center of attention.  So when the investigation started about Russia Trump's instinct was to make it about him instead of about whatever Russia has done.

That's not to say that it wouldn't have come around to him in time; it clearly would have because it seems that even if HE personally wasn't involved everyone around him seems to have been in on it.  But Trump's actions from the start have been painting the target on his back.  He's a farking dumbass who is in way over his head and doesn't understand the ramifications of his actions and statements.  I can't believe that the GOP are still backing him right now.  I'm wondering if they'll be satisfied after they kill healthcare or if they want more tax cuts before they are OK with cutting him loose.

I wish he had kept Flynn around too, it would have been easier to prosecute the rest of the White House staff if the administration had been trying to shield him.

Everything you said is true, but to some extent, we underestimated the consequences of our Cold War opponent's decline coupled with their amassed knowledge of those ~50 years of espionage and ruthlessness.

Trump fired Flynn because other people told him he had to. He liked and trusted Flynn. This is probably because Flynn knew how to control Trump, which is to flatter him while knowing he's an easily manipulated idiot.

Trump is just stating, again but in different words, that he has absolutely no idea what's going on.

Maybe Trump heard that Flynn is now working with the FBI and is getting nervous.  The message being, stop working with the FBI and I will pardon you when this shiat is over.

actually, the sheer amount of creativity would indicate they're pretty intelligent. But the name calling is a secondary issue. What sparked the animosity is the fact that we have a president and a party that seem not to give two shiats about you or me or anyone that doesn't line their pockets.

but not only that, you have quite a few leaders in the GOP who prefer to not even recognize that our goddamn enemy meddled in our goddamn democracy! Christ, DO YOU GET IT? You people go on and on about how great America is because of our democracy and yet you can't even be bothered to defend it against foreign intelligence agencies trying to tamper with that democracy!

We call you names because that seems to be the only thing that resonates with you. Facts don't matter to you. National security doesn't matter to you. Your goddamn health doesn't even matter to you.

This idea that "He would never lose supporters if..." is ridiculous.  Of course he would lose supporters.  Would he lose all supporters?  That doesn't matter.  All that matters is that he loses ENOUGH supporters.

We don't need to get all his supporters to agree Trump is bad, we just need them to doubt what they think they know about him.  The illusion needs to be shattered. For some, it will never be, but we don't need them all.

I think a video of him dropping the Trumpkins in a prostitute after two trumps, with the prostitute caught on tape laughing at him because of his tiny Trump and the way he didn't last more than two pumps, would kill any support he had.  They would be screaming that he was a cuck by the end of the day and calling for his head.

Honestly, I think the only way to beat him is to start calling him a "cuck."  Say things like "man sessions really makes Trump look like a cuck," or "I heard Bannon is making Trump a cuck with melanoma." If enough people say it, his supports will believe it and turn on him.

Trump regrets firing Flynn

He blames the firing for the mess he's in

.

If he hadn't fired him, at any rate

Flynn might be the one they'd investigate

.

Now the wolves are at his door

And, he doesn't have Flynn anymore

.

If Trump had to do it all over again

He'd definitely rethink firing Flynn

.
