I'm looking forward to Russia deciding that their investment isn't paying off, and deciding to completely throw Trump under the bus. The spin from Republicans that Russians aren't our friends and never were would power a major city.

Some folks don't understand that we're mocking you and him,and the real investigations (plural) have almost nothing to do with that.  But as far as wasting money goes, Benghazi ring any bells?

Your boy is either a senile dementia patient being used by every single person around him, or the corrupt head of a corrupt crime syndicate.  And shiat's about to go all Elliot Ness on him and the rest.  But you keep crying about the least important issue.  As 800 days of Benghazi investigations prove, that's what the GOP is good at.

If they hadn't annexed Ukraine, US and Russian hostility would had been extremely low prior to the elections. Even with the Syria situation, things would had been pretty calm. It would make the claims of their messimg with the election seem almost odd. Even fakeish. Like, it wouldn't quite make sense. They really could had done some damage with Trump then by flying under the radar.

Nothing is being done against Russia that is not fake and symbolic - neither Drumft nor the Russki coalition in Congress would allow it.

Or at the very least apologize to the people of Ukraine and make a farking treaty with them to send Crimea on its way.  But if there's one thing I know about Russia, it's that they won't apologize.

Are you kidding? Trump and the GOP already won the election and have taken the Russian money, and besides the threat of a "Pee Tape", anything released is just being called "Fake News" by the right, and the idiots believe it.

Right now, Putin is just screaming that he cannot believe that the Leopard has just started to nibble on his gross bald head. The sanctions are still in place, the Muslim ban didn't work, Russian citizens still use up nearly half of their paychecks for food, Assad is still not secure, and Moscow still has *no* path to that Svalbard oil, those nice Baltic ports, and that sweet Ukrainian wheat.

So basically, Putin is learning what every idiot that has worked with Donald Trump has learned already. You give the guy an inch and he'll take six, and he'll promise you the moon but will moon you instead.

You'll know exactly when Trump is no longer under the Russians thumb when he acknowledges that climate change is real and that we need to work on trying to limit it's impact. Russians want all the global warming they can get as it opens up the arctic sea for them year round as well as lengthening their growing season for agriculture. As long as Donny Two Scoops keeps farking over the environment he is doing good buddy Vlad's bidding.

Seriously -- this would be a good time to know if Putin really does have the power to bankrupt Jared, Ivanka, and The Donald by causing some loans to be called.

At the same time I really don't see that as ever happening. I doubt the Russian spook masters ever imagined they would be in a position to have that much personal leverage over the POTUS. They don't want chaos and over-reaching backlash and that is what would obviously happen if they actually used power like that if they had it.

Whats interesting is that leaving Eastern-Ukraine would be enough to have sanctions lifted. No mention of Crimea. So the Trump administration is basically saying "yeah, Crimea is yours".

Of course in reality world, lets not pretend USA is the leader of the free world. So who cares, if the EU wants to sanction Russia until "whatever criteria is achieved", they will. Russian troops leaving eastern-Ukraine doesn't suddenly make it not still under rebel control either.

Let me first assure you that I hate Trump and pretty much every Republican alive. So don't snark me out of existence when I say that whoever came up with the story about a "Pee Tape" really did the world a disservice. Trump has so much bullshiat going on- obviously owes Russians serious money, is a total fraudulent criminal, is dismantling our very Democracy, is the head of a criminal organization... This Pee Tape thing is just stupid. The only thing anyone's apparently pissed on is the US Constitution.

They're not stupid. I think they realize that as long as they stroke Trump's ego, they're OK.

It's not like they have done anything that bad. I mean, expecting the KGB not to hack everything and manipulate tubes is like expecting the CIA not to interfere in the Middle East.

If they piss of Trump, he has no friends left, and who knows what he'll do...

This is true. Russia recorded record harvests and is exporting as much food as they can to China and the Middle East:

I agree, even if it is real.  It's not illegal, and it's known he's a worthless petty asshole. All the pee-tape is now is a distraction from the real bad and illegal shiat he's pulling. He's not doing Russia's bidding over blackmail over the pee-tape, he's doing it for money and power. Pure and simple.

Russia is in a difficult spot. They only have (2) warm water ports...Crimea being one of them. Losing that would significantly impair them military-wise (Navy) and in effect render them unable to get into the Atlantic Ocean.

The content of the kompromat is immaterial. The issue is the fact that the president of the United States is compromised by a hostile outside entity and the US Government is effectively a Russian puppet government as a result of the kompromat, in addition to a political party who feel that near-catastrophic weakening of national sovereignty is a small price to pay to make sure that that uppity urban thug-in-chief 0bama doesn't get to keep his legacy of competent statesmanship.

/If the kompromat was a video of Trump missing a note while playing Für Elise on a harpsichord, the scandal would probably be called the "Für Elise Tape" or the "Piano Tape" or some such
//it would be referred to as the "piano tape" by the same news-entertainment industry that calls every pistol and revolver a "Glock" and every semi-automatic rifle an "AK-47"

When does ICE start raiding Brooklyn for undocumented Russians and the Treasury freeze dodgy Russian assets? It's a race for Trump to break his own executive so those things won't happen.

So the mega apartment/office building down the street doesn't get built. Or that secret installation which looked like a government agency closes. Or that new gated development with homes staring at $5 million. The US doesn't need Russian investment.

No, but Trump does - and he owes the Russian gangsters hundreds of millions.
