Not Wisconsin because bringing your kids to the bar is legal in Wisconsin. You can even buy drinks for your kids if you want to. Wisconsin.

Oh, I know.  I basically grew up in bars.

Yup. The law was passed to allow minors to drink at weddings with a parent there. But you can actually get trashed with your 11 yo here. However, it is up to the bar to allow this and most chain bars and restaurants don't.

Shot glasses of breast milk still OK?

Ummmmm

Apparently drinking before breastfeeding is bad but drinking while breastfeeding is not so bad since the booze will hit the milk after the infant is typically done.  Mind you it seems this lady went overboard.

I can't believe all of you libs are all upset over this!  We elected Trump so that taking a baby to the Wild Beaver Saloon would be a personal decision, like teachin youngsters about the Jesus and creation!

So sort of a 'hold my baby and watch this' kind of thing?

police put him in handcuffs, fearing he may fight them with the baby

When you learn to effectively swing a baby you can fark somebody up real good.

I sometimes wonder what would have happened if Mom hadn't smoked and drank while carrying and nursing me. Nobel Prize winner at a minimum.
Of course, without alcohol, I'd have never been conceived.

Meh.  Back in the day, my mom's old German doctor recommended drinking a malty beer to increase her milk production for my younger brother.  Then one time, she gets distracted for a couple of minutes, comes back and a 2 1/2 year old Chiliboots had drank half of it and is putting her curlers in his hair.

Hey kid, your mom's so ugly, she had to be drunk to breastfeed you.

Wait, that's not how it goes...

Once you start to feel drunk, that means the alcohol has hit the breastmilk. It's a blood-derived product. That said, the actual concentration is very low. We evolved to filter that shiat out. If you're only mildly intoxicated, the levels are about the same as you might find naturally occurring in fruit juice.

Nah, we're really much classier in Wisconsin: if this were a Wisconsin case, Mom would've left the kid in her '94 Chevy S10 with 6 month expired plates and no insurance while she drank in the bar. And when she gets pulled over for her 5th drunk driving she would offer the cop a BJ to let her go

Some states are more anal about separating parts of a restaurant, some have walls to separate the bar proper from the rest of the establishment, some only use a rope.

That kids lucky though my sister's mother used to leave us in the car when she went to a bar, we were older but...?

But the preemptive handcuffing of the father seems out of line, also what would her blood alcohol level have to do with anything, they weren't driving.
