Wow, he is really getting desperate. He's gone from blaming Public Enemey Number One, the American Media, and Obama and HIlary to blaming his BFF. Next thing you know, he will be blaming the victims. No wait, he has already blamed Comey, so I guess he is past that phase and has moved from Denial to Self-Pity.

Trump fired Comey.
But he only did so because Rosenstein told him to fire Comey.
But Rosenstein only wrote that memo about reasons to fire Comey because Trump told him to write a memo about why he could fire Comey.
By next week, Trump will be blaming the logging industry for chopping down the trees the memo was printed on and Dell for selling the ink cartridge.

Either way:

Someone likely finally got Trump to realize it looks back if he or a family member gets credit for the idea.

FTFA:

"...Former senior Trump campaign staff have not been told by Mueller to preserve any records, but they have been advised by Michael Glassner, chief strategist for Trump 2020, who sent a letter to everyone who had worked on the 2016 campaign, to save whatever physical or electronic documents they still have, including text messages. The letter also asks that any campaign electronic devices, like cell phones, be preserved..."

In that infamous interview, he admitted he decided to fire Comey before the Rosenstein memo.  He took credit for that shiat.  He's blatantly contradicting himself.

Yes, I know it won't matter, but goddamn, he's on a slippery slope.  He's losing whatever is left of his syphillis and Covfefe-laden mind.

If true the whole experience would be more preposterous as the political maneuverings in House Of Cards (US).

I hope it is true because that would be a sight to be seen.

Thanks.

Didn't he do a televised interview saying it was his decision alone to fire Comey? "Because of the Russia thing?" I think he's either having a panic attack because he knows he's guilty as hell, he has Alzheimer's, or a mix of the two.

It's almost like this shiat show could have been avoided somehow.

The special counsel can basically use Donny Two-Scoop's Twitter account as a kind of dowsing rod to determine when they're getting close to something.

Railing against the media? Slightly warm.
Railing against Hillary months after the election? Warmer.
All caps tweet with misspellings attacking the intelligence community and the special counsel? Ding ding ding!

To be fair, all the documents were in hard copy in 1945, and the retreating German armies didn't have time to set fire to everything.

/that's what you were talking about, right?

That right there.  He digs his hole deeper with every tweet, and they've lost their effect.  The GOP used to hang on to every post as gospel, but now they're just trying to distance themselves from them.

Anybody else here surprised that Trump hasn't ordered the AG to re-open or even file charges against Hillary to try and deflect from this stuff? Maybe he's still holding onto it until if he's ever charged.

Maybe he will wait until the next election, since that's the kind of thing that sounds good on the campaign trail.
