Who cares? We're getting the Warriors-Cavaliers again next year along with a pointless, unending regular season, playoff blowouts, and ridiculous gossip to tide over the inevitable.

The NBA is fantastic...if you live in the Bay Area. Everywhere else? Not so much.

5-6 odds for the Warriors?

Are they crazy? 2-1 or better.

These aren't official Vegas odds, they are just some idiot bloggers made up odds.   That being the case though, I'd put a fiver on the Bucks at 60 to 1.   That seems like the best "long odds to most upside" to me.  Although, honestly, it is the NBA... there are really only 4-5 teams with any "realistic" chance at all.... if you were in a more competitive league like the other 3 major US leagues, you could make the case for 10-12 teams, but, the NBA is so top heavy.

Celtics were last years Atlanta hawks.

Devo: Celtics were last years Atlanta hawks.

Except they're not going to acquire Dwight Howard, so they'll be fine.

On paper, the only thing keeping us from seeing Warriors V Cavs again next year is likely someone's knee ligaments.

Would you be surprised if the Celtics lost in the first round next year? The drop off between the Cavs and the Cetics is  bigger than the drop off between the Celtics and every other eastern conference playoff team. .

Waiting for the next bandwagoning big star to sign onto the Warriors. And then, when they face a team that can actually beat them in the Conference Finals, have their Eastern European thug slide under him on a jump shot and take him out of the series.

Someone call him a whambulance....

But i guess it was ok for LA to slide under KD or Dwayne Dedmon to knee Steph in the back of his knee. If anything, blame Pop for risking Kwahi's ankles by bringing him back before he was truly ready.

Also, Bruce Bowen says hi.

No kidding. Leonard was held out of two games during the previous series then was injured the play before by a team mate. Leonard was being over utilized, and his minutes were through the roof on the games he played. I don't believe Leonard lasts the series.

The back to back plays are shown here. Most folks concentrate on the second one because clicks.

Boston just traded the #1 overall (Markelle Fultz) to the Sixers for a bag of magic beans. I might hold off on taking that action.

A bag of beans which include 2 first round draft picks one this year and one in 2019 from the Kings.

Figure the highest 2 players don't really fit in well with the celtics why not trade down to get value for the guy you were likely going to pick anyway and this leave them room to get guys that would be better fits.
