You ever decide that the headline is better with the typo?

Some Farker once told me you had a better chance getting an article greenlit if you put a deliberate error in the headline.

Trump brings the electrolytes!

Meh. Trump has the dough to drag this out in court indefinitely. I bet there are even lawyers out there willing to do pro bono work for Trump in court just for a taste of Trump's little scam.
While I enjoy the thought of Trump being sued by multiple concerned individuals and entities, Trump certainly understands out civil court system. These cases will go nowhere.

I don't really think any of these cases will accomplish anything in the short term.  I really hope that at least something ends up in the Supreme Court just so they can clarify some of the vagueness of the rules.  The emoluments thing at least.  You know, for the kids.

Yeah, but the money he got through bribes and graft is going to be frozen, and most of his wealth is either locked in heavily leveraged real estate or is entirely fictional.

Ok. RTFA.

Trump has openly used his public position to enrich his own private interests and this is against the constitution and thus the historic suit.

Got all that.

Here's my thing.

The signs that Trump as president would lead inexorably to this moment  were visible long before the election.

I'm talking visible from outer space with naked eye kind of visible.

This was inevitable is my point here.

No DC law firm wants to represent Trump because "he doesn't pay and he won't listen". That's why he went back to his old mafia buddy from NYC.

Are you sure?  What has he done for Russia lately?  He needs to go down for being a Russian agent...but let's be honest here he's a HORRIBLE Russian agent.  If they keep propping him up its going to be more for the lulz and to keep weakening america than because hes doing anything for them that's of great benefit.

Pretty sure turning this country into a Banana Republic is benefit enough to them. Hey, it's not The Gap, but at least it's better than Old Navy.

Tinpot Dictators the world over must have been watching Donald the last 130+ days with their collective jaws on the floor, and simultanious polyglot babble all translating into: "holy crapballs, He can DO that!?"

Apparently, he can. It was a surprise to us, too.

Apropos of Nothing, a big part of the Fall of Rome came about due to the fallout from a few folks deciding that hundreds of years of tradition and convention didn't apply to them, and they could use, twist, or ignore the rules however they liked. (Gross oversimplification, i know, but...)

There was no way they ever expected Hair Furor to be some kind of effective double agent.

Putin's favorite game is to sow chaos and disorder, let his enemies damage themselves, and look for advantages to sieze among the rubble. Propping up Assad, he effectively sent millions of refugees into the EU, and the EU is still struggling with the load and abandoning previous open immigration policies, and starting to come apart. Putin furthered that by pushing for Brexit and trying to diddle french elections, too.

Somebody like Putin doen't look for allies, he looks to weaken Enemies. He's Good At It.

This isn't exactly the forum to bring up the brothers Gracci, the Tribune of the Plebs, Ceasar, and what generation of revering Power will do, go get Dan Carlin's Harcore History for that.

I'd also submit that learning ANY lesson from history is a step ahead of alt-factual nimrods who prefer making things up as they go, and who got us our Combover-In-Chief.
