Foot locker is what Woolworths became. Dad never would let us go to either because of Woolworths knowingly buying from the Nazi's during the war, giving them currency. Small items were smuggled out labeled as Swiss.

This.  $80 for a pair of kids shoes.  Yeah right.  $150 for the latest <NBA player> shoes.  Uhh, no thanks.  I'll just got to Big 5 for a great pair of $40 running shoes.

I went in there looking for running shoes and my choices were Nike, Nike, or basketball shoes.
