What's wrong with "Doctor My Eyes"?  I can see not being into Browne's Laurel Canyon balladry, but DME has a solid groove that's unlike his other stuff from that period.  It pretty close to Boz Skaggs' "Lido Shuffle" or maybe Sanford/Townshend's "Smoke From a Distant Fire," both of which are kickass songs.

Yeah, I kinda like that song. Lyrics are a little too in your face for me but not bad at all. I always liked Jackson Browne's music. What did he do recently that garnered such odd attention?

I see. You are going to take America back by threatening the life of a singer who took America away from you. After that murder, then America will all be taken back. I see. NannyNannyBooboo indeed.

Yes. You did. It appears you support the anti-liberal propaganda that drove the poster to seek death against a singer by you promoting another man who spends three hours a day droning about how "Liberalism (half of America) is a mental disorder" (the title of one of his books).

Hearing too much Jackson Browne on the local "Classic Rock" station, that's what.

Hmmmmm... Let's think about it.

This is the fourth opinion I have heard in one week blaming college professors for America's and Trumps problems.  This one and another stated a general distaste and how most professors are communists.  Another blamed Harvard Business School, and the other one on NPR yesterday was from a right wing think tank blaming American higher education for destroying America's culture and creating a hostile political environment where democrats won't compromise with republicans (even though they just did on the budget).  Just when I was wondering if anyone would take this seriously here comes this nonsense.  If anyone finds him, let him know that the conservatives control pretty much every major political office in the country.

Thats not enough for them. They wont be happy until they've murdered or jailed everyone that disagrees with them.

Because freedom or something.

Running on Empty would be a good title for a song about about the Trump White House. Or maybe a song about how the Republicans had seven years to write an Obamacare replacement bill, but still slapped together garbled garbage at the last minute.

A. Obviously, Daryl Hanna!
2. Did anyone else find the reference to the sit- in vague? They didn't indicate if the protester's were asking for great denunciation, or if they opposed criticism of the white power prats.
III. Recently I have taken much solace from the following. A bit Kumbaya like, but I lean toward peaceful resistance and know some conservatives who aren't evil.

Whoever did this, he should be putting up flyers to kill James Taylor for turning him into a pussy.  Is that possible?

I'm sure the follow up flyer will call for a Senate investigation of the Smother's Brothers.

The only Jackson Browne song I really can't abide is "the load out" where he sings about his roadies (and mostly about himself). Way to self referential. I like most of his other stuff, though.

Not saying this is what happened here, but...
Recently there have been too many incidents of false threats making the news.
People vandalize or such with the intention of brining attention to an issue - only to be caught for making it up.  This has the added detriment of making actual threats being slighted because of the false reports that make the news. (see the boy who cried wolf)

The true a**holes who make the news for threats are usually not as organized as those who make & distribute flyers. They are the drunks and mentally inhibited that harass people to their face with no regard to decency or a sense of shame.

TLDR version - this particular incident smells like bs
