It's the greed that got him. He should've tried for something smaller and more reasonable, like $12.5 million or maybe even as low as $7M.

2004-05-17 05:55:19 PM
Can I get that in quarters, please? I've got laundry to do.

"That's the notion that the United States has been trading birth certificates on the open market as a form of capital since 1933 and that citizens can "redeem" the value of their accounts and write gigantic checks.

Or something like that."

You know its random when the reporter, and usually a fact checker of some sort, have no farking clue what it means.

You mean it didn't work? I thought the banks always fall for this. Ugh.

You know, a $25 million check has got a snowball's chance in hell of fooling anyone, but just think how you'd live if you actually pulled it off!

This, this is what happens when you don't carry two forms of ID ... they naturally become suspicious.

Dam that Bush! It's him, Karl Rove and Cheney redirecting our Redemption money to Halliburton.

That's my theory.

The article is way more interesting than the headline would lead you to believe. Tip to the DRtA crowd.

I wonder if he would have had better luck at one of those "quick cash checking" places. Aren't their acceptance policies a little looser?

What's with this theory of his? Does he really believe the story about the value of these birth certificates? Or is it just part of his scam?

sorry, sorry. that was ONE TRILLION DOLLAR BILL. Montgomery Burns....hero of capitalism.

Add something else to the ever growing "America is one big conspiracy" conspiracy. Never hear of this one though. I figured it might have been something goofy like the clerk in Wal-Mart that took a two hundred dollar bill and gave change.

Sounds very much like tax protestors I've heard about.

You know the ones that say our Federal Taxes are voluntary and we don't really have to pay them and it's a conspiracy of silence.

Or that the government has been using the deeds to your property as collateral to fund secret loans that it's using to buy black helicopters.

We should use taxpayer money to fund a study on what makes people make up this crap.

2004-05-17 08:04:56 PM
This is why Americans need to be armed. You never know when the govt is going to storm your compound to collect some slaves to cover a bond issue to pay for a bridge or something.

Farking nutters, all of you.

Of course the government borrows money against the lifetime worth of it's citizens, because governments themselves are worth nada. You 'redeem' yourself by paying taxes, if you don't pay, you're owned. What a bunch of morons...

"Gorilla tactics"? "Gorilla". Holy Shiat! This reporter is an idiot, maybe even more so than the guy with the check.

Lutfee Abdul Waalee, convicted of trying to pass a fake U.S. Treasury check for $25 million, is a member of a black separatist group called the Moors who believe in the "redemption theory."

I was a census worker back in the 2000 census, and part of the area we had to cover included the state prison. We got absolutely craploads of census forms back from the prisoners (yep, they get counted too) where they had selected "other race" and written in "Moorish-American". At the time we thought it was just some organized put-on by the inmates, since none of us had heard of this group.

About 20 years ago, this plan was alive and well in North Dakota, when the Posse Comitatus members would write a draft on some non-existent fund, and try to buy their farm out of foreclosure. A pretty radical group of people, and well-armed.

2004-05-17 08:41:15 PM
Waalee did that in 2002, when he sued Secret Service Agent Eric Fuchs, saying Fuchs and other agents used what he described as "gorilla tactics" in a search of his home in June 2002.

Ummm, shouldn't that have been "guerilla tactics"???

This, this is what happens when you don't carry two forms of ID ... they naturally become suspicious.

What really makes it difficult is trying to use your birth certificate after the government uses it as collateral for a loan.

Short History of the Moors

The Italians used to be blond haired and blue eyes some 1700 years ago. The Moors, blacks from North Africa, conquered southern Italy. The black male Moors did so much phucking to Italian women, they changed the blood line forever in only about 400 years. That's why blue eyed, blond haired Italians turned into black haired, dark skinned people.

Italians were spawned by the black Moores. That was a lot of phucking. Look it up.
