It's based on one of his twitter dumps:

No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!

The SC is the only thing he did and most of that was due to McConnell.

But...but...just a few days ago he said that he accomplished more than any other President in that time frame.

I wish this guy would make up his mind.

Hey, he also bombed Syria, fired all the US attorneys with no plan to replace them, and made it legal to pollute rivers with mining runoff. Don't sell him short.

Not to mention enraging a key ally and losing an entire f*cking armada. And that was just this past week.

And he also announced to the country that healthcare reform LOOKS easy, but it is, in fact, not.

And he proudly informed us that the history and politics of the Korean Peninsula apparently isn't that simple.

I guess the key distinction here is between "done a lot" and "Achieved a lot"
You have to give him credit though, he's gotten more rounds of golf in during his first 100 days than any other president in recent memory.

I loved reading that.  He hasn't pursued a single one of those pieces of legislation except for ACA repeal and that turned into a total disaster.

Can we stop trying to justify this lunatic's behavior with armchair diagnoses? He's a sh*tty, spoiled person with no concept of the greater public good. He's not mentally ill, he's an asshole.

The first I had heard of the "First 100 Days" crap was with Clinton and it was in context not about the quantity or quality of accomplishments but more along the lines of his "honeymoon period" where the press and congress tend to cut the new president some slack.  Trump treated his "honeymoon period" like dealing with Aunt Flow on while on your honeymoon.

Benjy Sarlin told me that "many historians hate the first 100 days measurement" -- I asked for proof and he said he's writing an article so we'll see which historians he asked and which said they hated it.

When has the First 100 Days become a ridiculous measurement? Oh, when DJT is President*

It's ridiculous that presidents should be judged by their promises.  Or their past actions.  Or their current actions.  Or their associations with organized crime.  Or their selection of inept cabinet members.  Or their hypocrisy in literally all business matters.  Or their history of bankruptcies.  Or their creepy self-admitted abuse of women.  Ridiculous, I say.

bainsguy: He's not mentally ill, he's an asshole.

No, seriously.  I feel ya on the armchair diagnoses, but the guy has a tenuous relationship with reality beyond just dickish behavior.  For a guy that's obsessed with public perception, he's incapable of not ridiculing his own goddamn self with blatant self-contradictions that suggest he's mentally insane.

He can't even keep a coherent argument within the space of a tweet.  He's farked in the head.  I think Ivanka and Kushner have White House roles with the explicit purpose to help conceal that fact.

2017-04-21 01:37:09 PM
It is an arbitrary and dumb standard, driven by our love of round numbers and the political reality that a President usually has the most political capital soon after taking office.

Too bad this President made a vast array of promises about what he'd accomplish during that exact span of time.

2017-04-21 01:37:31 PM
I'm still baffled this thin skinned babycry became president by convincing a bunch of over inflated rubes how tough and thick skinned he was. It's obvious to anyone with 3 of the 5 senses and half a clue this guy is nothing but a sack of chewed beef and over-sensitivity dropped into a too small suit of human skin. Go fark yourself, trump!

2017-04-21 01:39:07 PM
The only good thing I can say about him by Day 92 is that he's been largely ineffective.

2017-04-21 01:40:08 PM
Trump wants to be loved and shown to be doing things while living off of past glories, at least that has been modus operandi in NYC for the last 30 years. It has to be killing him that a lot of people hate him and the national media makes the NY media look like amateurs in looking behind the curtain.

Yeah, you've made that abundantly clear in multiple threads.

2017-04-21 01:41:07 PM
The only thing that's ridiculous is that we still have to put any weight to the hot air coming out his facehole. Every tap of his tiny fingers or flap of his orange jowls is an embarrassment not only to the country but to humanity as a whole.

2017-04-21 01:41:43 PM
And on the foreign policy front, our allies have been kind enough so far not to take him seriously and become offended in the long term. That's a good thing.

Last week I told my boss I'd have the data cleaned up and normalized by today.  This morning I told him it was a completely unreasonable deadline and he was a fool to expect me to hit it.  In my defense, I pointed out all the other things I did in the last week, like promising to reorganize the server room, thinking about updating the users machines, going to MIcrocenter to look at new monitors, putting gaffer's tape on the floor to make Les Nessman walls, 36 holes at Falcon Ridge, really important stuff like that.  I don't know why he called me an asshole.
