Well, this is just plain stupid all the way around the board.

I get that some people care about sportsball passionately and all but this is just a dumb to spend any time on.

2017-04-21 05:17:18 AM
There are certainly some on the left trying too hard to make Trump look bad.  Sit down and shut up, he's got that covered himself!

The apology was funny.

2017-04-21 05:17:37 AM
And the reporter who wrote it apologized profusely. Wake me up when Trump apologizes for anything.

Yeah. Even his tweet about the story makes him sound like a whiny little kid. If he could just keep his mouth shut for two weeks his approval numbers would probably jump 10 points.

As someone who enjoys sportsball, I would prefer a President only host competitors of international events, or true amateurs.

The main point has been made, anyway - that the REAL celebrities and cool kids don't want to hang around with stinky little Donny - nobody cool likes him, or ever will.
Those who support him are people like him - outsiders, losers, and out-of-its.
People who know nobody cool will ever like them.
Enjoy partying with Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent, you f**king losers.

Number of sportsball people at the white house vs the US Carl Vinson's whereabouts.....

I think Donny's is a bit worse.

While many Patriots players did skip the April 19 ceremony, some to avoid Trump, the use of the images together made a false equivalency. The 2015 photo shows not just players, but also Patriots staff members, while the 2017 photo does not.

Right. That's because even the farking STAFF members didn't want to go so that is even WORSE.

These are the real things that get under Trump's skin. Size comparison.

If it didn't bother him he wouldn't say anything but he can't do it.

Horse obviously. Man, I'd love to see them making room for the photo on the white house lawn, just as the winner decides to lift his tail and take a huge dump.

OK - I'll admit when I'm wrong (something Dolt 45 will NEVER do).  So I posted this article on Facebook.

However, TFA mentions that it was the White House that makes the decision who to put in the pic.  Isn't that a bit telling?  Obama's White House realizes what a TEAM is all about - not just the starters.  Team Trump?  Surprised he didn't just pose with Belicheck.

There should be a quiz that you have to pass to prove you at least glanced at the article before you mouth foamers can post in a thread.

Actually, what is far more telling of Donny's attitude is that while there were members of the non-player staff of the New England Patriots in attendance, they were seated in the audience rather than be included in the celebration and photograph.  It appears Donny figures they weren't on the field, so they don't matter.  Donny either doesn't realize or doesn't care that a team sport requires a team of support staff to keep players healthy, conditioned and paid.

So, a third fewer players showed up for Trump than Obama.

Take your victory lap, Donnie.

Actually- the fact that the Patriots organization decided to wade into this political debate right away made it clear that behind the scenes there is some politically motivated dissension within their ranks that they're trying to comb over, if you will.

Another tweet from the team included images that the Patriots said were a fair comparison by showing only the players and not the full staff. That example included a photo of the team visiting President George W. Bush on May 10, 2004.

There you have it, it is not fair to compare Trump to Obama he should only be compared to Geire W Bush.

And politico once again uses any tortured logic it can to rate a left claim false.

The claim and picture examined were "fewer attended trump than Obama" which is a true statement no matter how you slice it.  Remove all the staff from the photo, still a true statement.  Place all the staff in trumps, still a true statement.  No picture at all, still a true statement.

This is as retarded as saying it's mostly false that Obama had more people at his inauguration because the pictures are slightly different angles and riots and blacks in one but not the other and white sheets and rain and such as

The New York Times updated its tweet by noting that the Patriots said 34 players visited in 2017 and 50 attended in 2015, but the total number of team and staff was "roughly the same."

So what you're saying is that less players showed up in 2017? Actually 68% of what showed up in 2015? Got it.

And were those photos released to the press or just to the staff members?  Why not have the photo with everyone that was willing to go to the White House released as the official photo?  People like Donald seldom recognize the contributions of the nameless, faceless non-stars to the overall making of the superstars in any organization.
